pajac24
i am wondering why they traded mike miller. sya sana ang pwedeng veteran leader ng team. mike miller was traded as he was the last man left in their previous line up, wherein the management decided to pick and form a new line up, he was supposed to be included in the pau gasol trade for lamar odom and kwame brown, as the lakers wanted a spot up shooter whenever bryant is in trouble in the shaded lanes, in other words a perfect complement for bryant but somehow talks broke down Quote Link to comment
jedimaster
To win the championship, this team has to fully exploit their big men : Haddadi (blocks and rebounds), Arthur (solid post player), Walker (veteran champ who can both drive and post and shoot, whew!), Gasol (lotsa potential, once he's found his comfort zone, deadly); Warrick (athletic and is good back-up). These biggies should have no problem bec the team has good snipers. Mayo, Crittenton, and Jaric can pick up the outside shooting (not necessarily 3pt-zone) that Mike Miller lefts off. Mayo can not only shoot but penetrate, get fouled (has good upper strength and body control). Jaric can also penetrate and has good kick off. Rudy Gay is there to mix it up, and had shown capability. Lowry and Conley are there to manage on-court (2 unselfish guards). They STILL need a veteran ball handler. I hope they get one as the games get played - someone like Sam Cassell. Also, I hope they move to the Eastern Conference Hahahahaha!!! Go Grrzzz! Quote Link to comment

sonicyouth
i believe this franchise will eventually be sold. maybe seattle. that was why the contracts of pau gasol and mike miller were dumped. antoine walker is still a good trade bait for a team who would like to avail of his playoff experience. chancepassenger30
actually, to win an NBA championship, they will need at least 10 years, luck in the ping pong balls, fire Chris Wallace their GM and find someone who can at least make trades beneficial to their own team, find a new owner willing to spend on free agents, and lots and lots of prayers from their fans. Also, it would help if KG, Duncan, Amare, Lebron, Kobe, Nash, Roy, Oden, CP3, West, Dirk, Parker, Pierce, Billups, Sheed all blow out their knees during training camp. pajac24
grizzlies is keen on luring asi taulava saan nakuha ang balitang ito? asi taulava is already 35 yrs. old and is already ripe for retirement, and at that age nba teams will think twice or even thrice before getting a player that old kung ang talent niya eh pwede sa nba eh di sana hindi magtatiyaga yan sa pba hehehe Quote Link to comment
gherome
F Antoine Walker-has a championship ring with the 2006 Miami Heat, former boston partner of paul pierce in bostonG Marko Jaric-originally drafted by the clippers, and was acquired via trade from minnesota, and can be a solid point guard off the benchC/F Hakim Warrick-can play a back up solid back up for gasol and Milicic How did they get Walker? Seriously speaking though, unless Gay would have a Lebron/Marion-Like season and Mayo would score like A.I. Marc Gasol would somehow resemble a young Shaq in his rookie year, I don't see them getting out of the cellar of their division. Quote Link to comment
