How about the facilities, okey ba?Or did you encounter any problem? Edited July 31, 2008 by mariejoy Quote Link to comment
BigJ
:thumbsdownsmiley: :thumbsdownsmiley: :thumbsdownsmiley: :thumbsdownsmiley: :thumbsdownsmiley: :thumbsdownsmiley: Quote Link to comment
mmp0gi
ya watch out for hustlers. If you just arrive and on the baggage claim, someone will approach you to get your luggage. unless you have balikbayan box that weighs 1,000 pounds full of duty free crap or an very old person with a major back problem get someone to help you. but it's not free. Ok so now you have your luggage, balikbayan box, or a stick, whatever. while walkin out the door the security or that dude on the door will ask if you got some mula.. You are not oblige to pay them. there's no terminal fee exiting the terminal. ok so now you're outside, someone will ask you if you want them to announce your name because you can't find your pick up because of the crowded kababayans, unless you're blind with a walking dog don't because after they announce your name they'll ask for a $10 dollar(500 pesos) tip. mariejoy
I was leaving on an early flight a few weeks ago from Terminal 1There was a power failure and the airport was pitch black for about 3 minutesThere was no emergency lighting in the section behind the immigration gates Quote Link to comment
omnipresent
Not to mention ung mga buwaya na pakalat-kalat at immigration officers na walang ginawa kundi mag-txt or magkwentuhan. > TV screens to watch some movies while waiting for your flight.> Free internet stations??> more food outlets gaya na nasabi ko, di ko pa natry Terminal3.

I worked there for 6 1/2 years at mabibilang mo sa kamay ang mga matitino. Quote Link to comment
shrike
byahero kami ni misis both international and local, mga not less than 5 trips abroad and not less than 6 local (each for a year) for mga 7years na. Not once we have experienced any personnel misconduct, harassment or begging for tips. In fact marami nga ako good experiences with airport staffs (pag kasama namin kids sa byahe). Terminal 3 is better than 1 & 2 but it could be better. Sobra nga lang layo ni T3. Yea, yea compared to other 1st world airports talo nga pinas pero its not that bad. F! F! F! F!. Sinerve sakin na tapsilog, malamig as in galing sa ref. Buti na lang kasama ko kids ko kundi pinagmumura ko yung manager at yung cook. Php 150+ na tapsilog na galing sa ref ? WTF?!!! I ended up eating KFC (nagpabili sa driver) hahahahaha. Quote Link to comment
xyrus69
Bulok. compared to Malaysian, SIngapore and Thai airports na napuntahan ko. Daming racket, security is lacking. Quote Link to comment
kanski
same experience with shrike. fortunate enough to travel yearly since 2002 and had just one misconduct involving an over zealous bag boy trying to help load our bags to our car. kahit $1 lang daw. gave him a twenty (pesos) explaining in my best fake bulacan accent that i'm a philippine resident (bet he didn't buy it and just left bec. of my being cheesy). when it comes to people like this, all you have to say is "no thanks, i can manage," and they will scatter off. but i wouldn't doubt what others have disclosed here. just don't know what makes them more prone to harrassment than others. let me add that from the lobby of t3, i think that this terminal is something that we won't be ashamed of (except to the germans) if not outright be proud of. but then, this is what i felt about t2 when it first opened and look at it now, a lot of it is in disrepair. rodel518
Sa T2 don sa pila ng Taxi... Ambagal noong naglilista.
artvader
I may be wrong, but I think kinukuha talaga nila yun name at destination mo sa airport taxi, then they radio a cab for you. At least yun ang experience ko everytime I use the service (most of those times wala naman pila or hindi naman ako mukhang umaasta sa kanila or anything). Quote Link to comment
shrike
during casual discussions at lunchtime, I asked my colleagues (mga byahero rin international - projects, meetings, conventions, seminars, pareho ko ring umu ubos ng 36 page na passport bago ma expire) kung they have bad experiences sa international airports natin, funny thing is, wala rin silang matandaan. it begs the question, namimili ba ng ma uuto yung mga 'alleged' na tiwaling airport officials ?baka naman mukha silang uto uto or promdi kaya inu uto ?
