My recent experience in Terminal 1 was surprisingly pleasant (July 20, 2025, 11am).  Upon entering, there were a few people in line at the PAL check in. While there was a line in immigration, it was moving.  Security check line was also moving.  A total of more or less, 20 minutes to go through all that. While waiting for my flight, I had more time to observe and the facilities of Terminal 1 are old. The building itself is old and should be refurbished.
