Heatsink
If you want a high class hotel in davao the go to marco polo and try there breakfast. If you want something quite and has a beach view then go to water front hotel it's just a couple of minutes from the middle of the city. Edited December 14, 2010 by Heatsink Quote Link to comment

I'm looking for a resort since I already have a plane ticket Boss Jerzz Maganda din sa Marco Polo Php 3000 ang per night pero laging fully book dun, sa Royal Mandaya mura lang mga Php 2,500 per night tapos maganda rin ang room. They remind me of my holiday in Davao about four years ago. I went to Samal Island and stayed at Pearl Farm and Paradise Island. Pearl Farm is just beautiful. So relaxing, so quiet and above all classy. Great place to take a lady. But Paradise had its own vibe too - it was busier, more lively and well, 'fun'. If I was going with a group of guys, I would probably choose Paradise. As for Davao City, can't really remember where I stayed (Apo View, I think). But I do remember two great eating places: Cynthia's Lechon House and Jack's Ridge. Jack's Ridge was out of this world. Some of the best food I have EVER tasted.Especially the panga tuna jaw. Oh man...I wish I was there now... Quote Link to comment

girlspeed
Anyone try Pinnacle Hotel Davao yet?Currently staying at Pinnacle Hotel Davao. I think the room I'm staying is at P2,800? I'm in the new/additional floor so it kinda smell wood. (atleast not paint or varnish.) Location is good. its near to the places I need to go to, like Chinatown, G-mall, Robinsons Abreeza, I can move around and ride this little jeepney. Its far from the airport, zip line sites, croc farm, Matina and SM Davao. Going to and from the places i mentioned will cost around P150 for a cab. Breakfast buffet is okay since I'm not the "i-must-eat-breakfast" type. Wifi access is only available at the lobby. Swimming pool is on the 5th flr. walang nagsswimming pag morning. p.s. Sarap sa Luz Kinilaw. Quote Link to comment
romyg
Check in last week at Chatteau del Mar.....people are friendly....clean facilities.... medyo malamok lang, just ask the counter to sprray some insecticides before you come at night. Quote Link to comment
john_locke
I tried Europcar car rental, good customer service. They will even pick you up sa airport before renting, and they'll drop you sa airport after. Latest model ng vios 1.3e, soo convenient renting if you'll go out and around the city. Taxi is ok but just about the same price kung whole day ang itinerary. Cost me P3,000 per 24hours.
