malayo pa yan. kita naman natin na kaya ng ginebra. wala pang ginawa sina brownlee at japeth. nagtataka lang ako...kokonti ang binato ni brownlee. parang walang gana. malas lang kaya? si japeth lumabas na naman yung pagkatakaw niya sa foul. i'm sure adjustments will be made specially on the defensive end against durham and hugnatan. napakaswerte naman nitong dalawang mama na ito. bawi tayo sa linggo.

Parang tentative si Brownlee, always looking to pass..,BGK is tough to beat kapag offensive minded sya.

Japeth should be responsible enough to preserve his fouls. And Scottie should not overpass...tira na kung panira na...

Overall, it still looks positive.Am sure Coach Tim will adjust

Bukas ulit........................ Sa likod ako ni Bato hahahaha. Animated, parang si Ryan Gregorio hahaha.

AS a Barangay Ginebra fan, 'Bato' is as solid as a rock.

Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Ronald 'Bato' Dela Rosa bared he has been a diehard Ginebra fan from the time the PBA’s most popular ballclub was beginning to establish the foundation of its never-say-die spirit.

The 54-year-old general said he was already following the team back in the time when the great Robert Jaworski Sr. was still the face of the franchise as its playing coach, credited for molding the Kings to the famed squad it is known today.

“Ginebra noon pa, panahon pa ni Jaworski,” the police official disclosed to SPIN.ph on Friday night as he watched Game One of the Governors Cup finals between Ginebra and Meralco before a jampacked crowd at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

One by one, he quickly mentioned some of the predecessors of these modern-day Kings who are eyeing their first ever league title over the last eight years.

“Distrito, Gonzalgo, Dondon Ampalayo, Loyzaga,” said Dela Rosa, showing how a rock-solid Ginebra fan he is.

It was the first time he watched the game live since he assumed the top PNP position, according to him.

His answer didn’t come as a surprise when asked who among the Ginebra players is his favorite.

“Yung kababayan ko, si Scottie Thompson,” stressed Bato, while adding the veteran duo of Mark Caguioa and JayJay Helterbrand are also on his fave list.

Dela Rosa though, admitted he doesn’t know the Ginebra rookie personally.

“Alam ko lang kababayan ko siya,” he said of the former NCAA MVP out of Perpetual Help, who is from Padada, Davao del Sur.

He got a bit surprised when mentioned that Meralco rookie Baser Amer is also from Davao.

Of course, the PNP chief sees Ginebra finally ending its long title drought, saying the best-of-seven series could be over in six games.

And as long as his busy schedule would permit it, Dela Rosa vowed to be in the games again.

“Basta bakante, basta hindi busy yung aking schedule,” he said. “Pampa-relax ba.”

Still, there are no excuses para sa mga miscue nila, or pagod lang sila talaga. Sana hindi pa nila binigay lahat against SMB. Napatunayan naman nila na kaya nilang mag adjust. Sana magawa nila bago tayo mabaon ng ilang games. Crossing fingers and toes. Anyway, magandang game ang pinakita ng 2 team na iyan.

Gising brownlee!

somethings wrong with Brownlee... napaka ingat nya maglaro

One of those nights.............off night si Brownlee..................tao lang.......................Wait sa Sunday.

brown lee in second half is absent, malaki bagay foul out c japet

Brownlee attempted an ill-advised three-pointer right after Alapag's three. I really could not fathom why he attempted that three when there was still a lot of time left. Another game-changer was Hugnatan's three at the buzzer to end the third. Had he missed that, Ginebra wins by three, at least. What was glaringly obvious was that Ginebra did not have a shot-blocker to, at least, intimidate Durham in OT. Aguilar's graduation in the fourth was a big blow to Ginebra's defense.

dissapointed din ako sa laro ni JBL last night, parang wala sa wisyo, no match siya kay Durham, hindi nya madepensahan, mas mabilis pa kesa kanya gumalaw, no wonder kung si Durham ang magiging Best Import this conference...

same thing with the ROY award, sigurado na si Newsome dito over Thompson.
