[TWO]RERO
mukhang mananalo sila mamaya...ayaw raw "maglaro" ng 2 players ng PFdon't know if they've resolved their differencesthough it is not with each other...sa tingin ko.. pautot nanaman ni Ryan yan.. para malito yung depensa ng kalaban.. just like dati when Kerby was injured di nila sinabi na hindi makakalaro si Kerby. could be... though I doubt itas far as I know it was Kelly Williams that was being eyed to play as an import elsewhere Caguioa sa Australian cage league? “If they cannot afford that money, forget about the talks.” (Russell Cadayona) Quote Link to comment
kLique
Crisano used be the highest vertical leaper in the PBA. I like his energy when he plays. Menk has lost his game. Lipat na lang siya ibang team baka magbago pa game niya. Menk is demotivated... and you're right probably a change in scenery sould helpbigay na lang sya sa Welcoat for draft picks ok na! haha Caguioa sa Australian cage league?
Yun lang Iam A Ginebra fanatic sayang kasi I think Mark is good for about 4 to 5 years nalang in his playing carreer, yun ay productive playing carreer, and with the type of game he plays run and gun seldom do we have guys past 35 that could still be as aggressive, so it means that he wont be able to don a Ginebra uniform in top form. Tsaka pano na si Jayjay cause they drew strenght from one another. Marami talagang malulungkot pag nawala si Mark, pero if it happens as Ginebra fans we should be proud of him Quote Link to comment

pimpkin®
BARANGAY GINEBRA TURNS BACK PUREFOODSHelterbrand, Tubid, Alexander shine anew in Caguioa’s absenceWednesday, 11 June 2008Accidentally hit in the face by Reda Rhalimi midway through the fourth quarter, Jayjay Helterbrand got back at the entire Purefoods team, coming through with clutch plays at the finish. Helterbrand scored seven points in an 11-2 closing run carrying Barangay Ginebra to an 89-81 win over Purefoods Wednesday night in the 2008 Smart PBA Fiesta Conference at the Araneta Coliseum. Rhalimi and Chris Alexander had been in a furious battle before Helterbrand stole the thunder, leading the Kings to a second straight win curiously in the absence of injured top gun Mark Caguioa. Alexander finished with 20 points, 16 rebounds, three assists and the same number of blocks against Rhalimi’s 28 points, 15 rebounds, two steals, one assist and one block. The two imports taunted one another with Alexander easily winning the support of the crowd on his side. He got tremendous applause after a two-handed jam in the dying seconds for the final count. Ronald Tubid was also there to support Alexander with the former UE Warrior producing a personal conference-high 21 points that went with nine rebounds, three assists and three steals. "Mahirap talagang wala si Mark (Caguioa). We need guys like Jayjay and Ronald to double their efforts to compensate for the absence of Mark," said Ginebra coach Jong Uichico. Caguioa is nursing a strained calf muscle. His status is day-to-day. "Our goal is to win as many games as possible in our last few games in the elims. Hopefully, we make it at least to the middle of the pack," Uichico said. The Kings caught up with the Giants at eighth place on their identical 6-8 win-loss cards. Ginebra’s last four games are against Coca-Cola, Alaska, Talk n Text and Welcoat. The Kings overcame the Giants with better field-goal shooting, rebounding and passing. But they went through a wringer, fighting the Giants through 11 deadlocks and 24 lead changes. Purefoods went up for the last time at 79-78 on a free throw by Enrico Villanueva off a hard foul by Alexander. Ginebra made it 44-all at the half as Tubid shook off the defense of Roger Yap then soared high for a double-pump against Villanueva at the buzzer. (NC) The scores: Ginebra 89 – Tubid 21, Alexander 20, Helterbrand 17, Valenzuela 11, Artadi 8, Mamaril 7, Menk 3, Crisano 2, Pacana 0, Wilson 0, Salvacion 0. Purefoods 81 – Rhalimi 28, Raymundo 12, Yap J. 10, Yap R. 10, Villanueva 9, Simon 8, Lanete 4, Sanz 0, Salvador 0. Quarterscores: 23-18, 44-44, 67-62, 89-81. Quote Link to comment

arnel_gumaru
nice win! some few things i noticed (good and not good) jay-jay is filling-in the shoes of the #2 spot while mark is healing from injury. tubid getting things done with his hussle (kaya lang minsan nasosobrahan sa acrobatics) valenzuela is playing smart, not getting his numbers when he was in RB, but i like him in the team now. lying low and just getting rebounds and giving passes for his teammates. crisano is a beast with more brains now. hehehe... i personally want him to have more playing minutes than menk. salvacion --- ano na ba nangyari dito? sayang yung talent nya no, ang ikli na lang ng playing time nya. sya na lang kaya ang i-trade para kay washington or devance. nyahahaha... menk --- ganun pa rin, seems to move too slow now. orionpax
Junthy V has been coaxed by Art Dela Cruz to be the "stopper" in BGK He has been reviewing game tapes of the top local scorer prior matches That explains the dip in his scoring...besides...you have Caguioa, Tubid & Helterbrand for the points hehe Quote Link to comment
