kLique
kalaban nila mamaya ang SLR... coming off a loss I expect the Realtors to play hardwith BGK still without Caguioa they'll need their supporting crew to step it up a notch...kaya naman nila... it just has to be a 48minute effort Quote Link to comment
peterpaulmary
well BGK fans dont worry kulang lang talga sa cohesion ang team its not the same team that won the championship a year ago, daming bagong players and medyo nagbago ng coaching philosophy si jong uichico. they will make to the quartes for sure and could make it all the way if they continue to peak, one good team going for the team they are slowly rising up while almost all the other teams including coca cola are being inconsistent nowadays. And guys take note they are 2nd to the last in the standing but they are only about 3 days away Quote Link to comment

pimpkin®
GINEBRA SANS CAGUIOA DRUBS WILLIAMS-LESS REALTORSKings dominate game, get big games from Alexander, Helterbrand, TubidFriday, 06 June 2008A Sta. Lucia team minus top gun Kelly Williams proved to be an easy prey for Barangay Ginebra. The Kings pounded and pummeled the Williams-less Realtors, again gaining ground on the pacesetters with a 112-104 victory Friday night in the 2008 Smart PBA Fiesta Conference at the Cuneta Astrodome. Though also missing a key player in the injured Mark Caguioa, the Kings had a relatively easy time posting their fourth win in their last five games. The final count didn’t show the true reflection of the game since the Kings lowered down their guard after storming to a 26-point lead in the third quarter. Torrid shooting and no-nonsense defense did it for the Kings as they avenged their 97-101 defeat to the Realtors in their previous match and jacked up their overall win-loss record to 5-8 – now two full games clear of Welcoat’s 3-10. "Everything fell into place for us while Sta. Lucia struggled minus Kelly Williams," said Ginebra coach Jong Uichico. "Good win and hopefully we’ll be able to make another run because we have a lot of catching up to do," Uichico added. Three Kings in Chris Alexander, Jayjay Helterbrand and Ronald Tubid scored personal conference highs to lead the Ginebra juggernaut. Alexander finished with 35 points and 25 rebounds. Helterbrand fired 31 points and Tubid rattled in 17. The Realtors suffered a third straight loss and slid to 6-7, no thanks to the absence of Williams, who is in the United States to marry his longtime girlfriendthere. Jamar Brown couldn’t provide the spark. Dennis Espino also recorded a personal conference high 28 points but his explosion came a little too late to save the team from further slide. The Realtors exploited the situation with the Kings relaxing at the finish, scoring a season-high 46 points in the final quarter. Ginebra established control early and sat on a 55-37 cushion at the turn. Tubid went 3-of-3 from the three-point area and Helterbrand converted four of five three-point attempts highlighting the Kings’ first-half splurge. Alexander imposed his will versus Brown early, piling up double-double numbers with 15 points and 11 rebounds right in the first 24 minutes of play. After a brief skirmish marked by three deadlocks and three lead changes, the Kings controlled the tempo and erected a 29-17 lead in the first quarter. (NC) The scores: Ginebra 112 – Alexander 35, Helterbrand 31, Tubid 17, Valenzuela 9, Crisano 6, Menk 5, Pacana 4, Salvacion 3, Artadi 2, Mamaril 0. Sta. Lucia 104 – Espino 28, Omolon 19, Daa 15, Yeo 10, Miranda 8, Mendoza 7, Brown 6, Aquino 6, Reyes 5, Mamaclay 0, Coronel 0, Gonzales 0. Quarterscores: 29-17, 55-37, 83-58, 112-104. Agent_mulder
Agent_mulder
Hindi ako naka-focus masyado sa game last night (as I was out drinking with a couple of friends), all I was able to notice is that pa-konti na ng pa-konti ang lamang nila noong 4th quarter but still they should have a killer instinct pag lamang na para hindi ganoon, sabagay maski noong araw ganyan na sila... khilua23
