Delikado, Henry Cojuangco, ang dami nang threat na lumipat sa Barako Bull! Hala!!! Magsasara ang Ginebra franchise mo kapag di ka gumalaw ng maaga. Sa totoo lang, pati ako, nagtataka sa sarili ko kung bakit ako waiting in expectation sa mga laro ng Barako Bulls!!! Kinawayan pa naman kita nuong may prenup shoot ako sa The Fort, remember, nuong breakfast ninyong mga car hobbyists? Pinakita ko pa yung undershirt kong Ginebra, nag thumbs up ka pa!!! Baka sa susunod, yung pinamimigay na tshirt ng Barako Bulls ang pakita ko sa iyo.

Para sa akin, ang San Miguel Company ayaw pagalingin ang Ginebra. Mas pinapagaling nila ang SMB/Petron Blazers at Purefoods/B-Meg at ang Ginebra hindi. Kinuha pa ng SMB si Siot Tanquincen after he made Ginebra champions ng 2009 at ang pinalit ay si Jong Uichico. Nasira tuloy ang chemistry ng Ginebra. Tapos si Pingris at Reavis binigay sa Purefoods/B-Meg. Ang mga star players ng Ginebra tulad ni Caguioa, Helterbrand at Menk matatanda na at injury prone pa.

 

Recently, parang limited lang ang minutes ni Helterbrand, Caguioa, Menk and Tubid. Bakit kaya?

Para sa akin, ang San Miguel Company ayaw pagalingin ang Ginebra. Mas pinapagaling nila ang SMB/Petron Blazers at Purefoods/B-Meg at ang Ginebra hindi. Parang naulit na naman yung phase na laging cellar dweller ang BGK, prior to the arrival of Marlou Aquino, Noli Locsin, Bal David and Vince Hizon into the roster.

 

Then naging mediocre na naman due to the departure of the Big J, then umangat due to the arrival of the Fast and the Furious.

 

So eto na naman ulit. Mediocre level na naman ang gameplay.

 

Being an optimist, and a true blue BGK fan through and through, is this sign of things to come? Take note: BGK ang may hawak sa draft pick ng Barako Bull next season due to trades in the past (given that Barako Bull gets a high enough pick). Therefore, I have a theory. Next draft pick ang turn-around ng BGK into its deadly form, me thinks.

 

For now, eh masanay na muna tayo sa tsamba at panghuhula kung mananalo o hindi.

 

Undersized ang BGK dahil kapag nagpakawala sila ng gwardiya for a big man, lugi sila. Anyone sa mga pwede nilang bitawang guards (except for Labagala, Wilson and Aquino), pwedeng starter for any other team.

 

I'm gonna sit down and watch this one unfold. Ganyan din naman ang dinadaanan ngayon ng Alaska. Ganyan din ang dinaanan ng Petron.

Whatever happened to Caguioa or the coaching staff?? I was watching the game at the BigDome last Sunday, ni hindi sya starter? Tapos limited minutes? Tapos nung 4Q, saglit lang pinasok then nilabas agad. Parang inis pa sya nung inilabas sya agad.

Mc47, tubid, jayjay can't do it by themselves... Menk can no longer play everygame...

 

Coolcat, kg and willie wilson are legit role players...

 

Matagal na dapat 'yang player overhaul na 'yan eh, alaska had been doing it for many years now, even sacrificing some of its marquee players (i.e. Abarrientos, Juinio, Peek, Hawkins, etc.) in order to have a young and competitive line-up. For Ginebra, maybe they can build the team around Caguiao, Jay-Jay, Cortez, KG, Willy Wilson and maybe even John Wilson and Intal. They definitely need legit big men..

for me kasi... pag wala talagang Rebounding Center... it also follows walang defense....

from inside. caguioa has a terrible attitude problem. he's feeling the stardom way beyond his head. he doesn't follow patterns and plays (bwakaw and uncooperative sa team) because he thinks he's a superstar messiah of the team. the coaching staff is disciplining him. and the team owners gave tanquincen full authority. even the teammates is feeling it.

Well, it depends. Sino sino ba ang potential draftees next season?

mga almost sure na papasok sa draft sina hodge and ellis who will both suit up for the sinag pilipinas. calvin abueva, junmar fajardo, aldrich ramos.. then probably greg slaughter will also suit up for the team unless smart gilas will recruit him for another 3 years.

I have heard nga from an insider that this Caguioa has attitude problems nga.Kung minsan ayaw sumunod sa coach, kung minsa ayaw mag practice, kung minsan absent. Pinag uusapan nga siya privately ng mga teammates niya.
