Meanwhile, Barangay Ginebra is also replacing its import for the second time, looking for former Canadian national player Denham Brown in an attempt to fire up its bid for at least an outright quarterfinals seat.

 

Brown, who became a top collegiate prospect after scoring 111 points in a game for West Hill Institute versus R.H. King Academy in Toronto, is set to arrive today from the US.

 

“We’ll look at him in practice. If he’s okay and if we can work on his documents right away, then he’ll play Saturday against Talk n Text,” Ginebra coach Jong Uichico told The STAR.

 

“Hopefully, he’s okay and he can help us snap Talk n Text’s streak,” Uichico added.

Actually ysan ang nakalulungkot ngayon sa PBA, and few times na sinabi ni jawo ito na ang basketball ay hindi pagandahan ng sapatos, hindi papormahan o paraan para mabilis umahon sa hirap. Ang basketball ay laro ng dedikasyon, tapang, tibay ng loob at matinding puso.

 

Yang sugal ang isa sa mga rason kung bakit ung ibang players ay hindi nakakapag focus,, I remember Flying A issue with cock fighting, mon fernandez and atoy co in casino... tsk tsk.. hope other players learn this lesson before its too late lalo na si helterbrand, sobang nakakadisappoint ang game nya. Sobrang layo last season, parang di sya MVP.. last game nila w/ RoS, halatang napagalitan sya ni coach nung half time kc lumabas sya agad para mag shooting (ganda ng shooting nya sa tres, binilang ko mga 8/10 eh)..

Well, I am having my mind open at sana naman malas lang siya sa first game niya. May galaw, mas exciting kaysa sa naunang dalawa. Pero talo pa rin. No Tubid, No Menk and no sort of set plays. Akala ko madadale na yung winning streak ng TNT. To tell you the truth, nagulat ako sa mga players ng TNT, first time I saw them play, para palang national team na yun, parang SMB, parang Alaska! Hindi na nga balance ang mga teams sa PBA. Yung nasa itaas, sobrang lakas. Whatever happened to the salary cap/ceiling ng mga teams? What happened Commish Barrios? Puro allowances ba ang malaki, not salaries?
