SMC pa an afford yan..... the two other teams rumored to have import replacements are not looking good financially e. that makes Ginebra as the team capable of signing this expensive import ...and according to Asst Coach Sauler (via tweeter), it might happen before saturday game. Sa pagkakaalam ko kc mga sir, during jawo time ay under la tondeña pa ang franchise pero ng nalugi ang la tondeña products. kinuha na ng san miguel corp ang buong share kaya nagpalit ng new management. Nagkaroon ng sympathy ang buong team kaya halos sabay sabay sila umalis ng ginebra..ang natira sa kanila ay ung mga bench and fresh player na hindi part ng jawo's legacy which is helterbrand, caguioa, meneses, andy seigle and new acquired menk (from tanduay).. I think may sama ng loob si jawo sa ginebra management and magiging posible lang na mag coach sya ulit sa ginebra kung may plano sya mag senador ulit.. It will bring back his popularity.. un lang hehe... Meralco's not the first team ni Jawo. He first played as a "saling pusa" sa Crispa coach ay Baby Dalupan, the year was 1966 ata, then transferred to Yco Painters ng mga elizalde 1967. Ang coach niya nuon ay ang Philippine legend sa basketball-Caloy Loyzaga, tatay ng Ginebra players na mga Loyzaga. Only then Jawo played for Meralco Reddies. Quote Link to comment
