Lumamig lang si Helterbrand noong 2nd half kaya nanganib sila but the smart plays of Noel, Baguio and Tubid somehow made up for it. Nakalimutan na naman ni Coach Jong si Artadi samantalang hanep daw ang 3-point shooting nito. If there’s one player na sana mabigyan ng ample playing time ay si Intal, naga-antay na ang mga fans sa isang break-out game from this player, kita n’yo naman ‘yung dunk n’ya, dribbling from the outside and taking it to the heart of the smb defense then boom! Unheralded si Intal pero bilib ako dito dahil pang-Ginebra din ang puso ng player na 'to at bagay talaga sa kanya ang bansag na “The Rocket”, sana lang maging consistent s'ya esp. sa outside shooting, paging Caidic and Samboy Lim (who can not only take it inside but can also shoot during his playing days) kindly give pointers to this unheralded player. Napuna ko lang malakas at mabilis si jonas villanueva para kay Baguio maybe putting Tubid on him might do the trick (but then again ang assignment yata ni Tubid ay si hontiveros) na pag si Baguio din ang tumatao puro din foul si Skyrus. Also, difficult ‘yung match-up nila kay Washington, hirap si Salvacion at maging si Reavis sa kanya pero ‘di ko lang alam kung mas maging ok na match-up si Intal sa kanya. Maganda ang ploy ni Coach Jong na si Reavis ang tumatao kay freeman naiilang si freeman sa kanya dahil mahaba ang galamay ni Reavis and to let Noel get those rebounds at para din ‘di mapagod si Noel in trying to boxed out freeman na active din sa rebounds (esp. offensive). Sana lang ayusin ni Coach Jong ang rotation ng players n'ya at madalas nakakalimutan nang ipasok 'yung mainit kaya ang nangyayari pag-pasok ulit sa player wala na 'yung hot hands.... It will also make life easier for Tubid and Skyrus to penetrate if SMB's defense extends to the perimeter as well as Noel waiting in the weakside for offensive rebounds or drop passes Coach Jong is playing with the 4 guard line up more often (Jay-Jay, Skyrus, Tubid, Salvacion, Noel) which is spreading the defense Edited July 2, 2009 by orionpax Quote Link to comment

But the biggest plays were made by Helterbrandt and Noel's playing heads up. Hope this kind of play prevails sa second half. Syota ata ni Jong si Lanete eh :lol: Pinagpipilitan parati. Sayang si Artadi talaga. Sa hinayang siguro, hindi tumatayo sa bench.Si Pacana patayo =tayo na lang sa sidelines. Imagine, ang laki ng lamang ng Ginebra, inilabas si Artadi, nahabol at lumamang pa ang SMC. Buti na lang sinuerte si Herlterbrandt sa three point area kundi, tigbak na naman. natawa naman ako d2 hehehe , o baka naman may malakas na padrino itong si Lanete kaya napipilitan si Jong ipasok ito, don't get me wrong di rin naman ako bilib sa ability ni Jong as a coach kaya lang sila nasa Finals ay dahil nagstep-up ang mga players ng Ginebra . regarding Pacana dito ako nanghihinayang if i remember it right isa sya sa mga guard ng Ginebra na nagstep-up nang ma-injure si Helterbrand. isang tagay sa mga kabarangay nakuha natin ang Game 1,sana mas maging masigasig pa sila hangang matapos ang laban.
