Why Some People Hate Valentine's Day

Traffic

Expensive flowers

Booked restos

 

 

People are just making so much fuss out of an ordinary day

 

I think its the fuss that makes the day very special... meaning, for such an ordinary lady, at least today, you're not ordinary... in my eyes, you're not ordinary today or any other day...

 

people hate valentines because its a celebration of an emotion... its a day to celebrate love. most of the time the people who dont like valentine are people who dont have someone to love... who dont believe in love... who are scared of love... scared to love... etc...

 

otherwise, valentines is just another one of those days wehn things can be a little bit more special than usual... no biggie...

And if you have a partner, places such as motels & restaurants become jampacked. Plus, prices of flowers and other Valentine paraphernalia soars to ridiculuous heights

for singles (na nanliligaw) - magastos kasi kelangan bumili ng roses, stuff toy, at chocolates

 

for young couples - need a better to plan to make the day a special one compared to last year.

Anyhow, perhaps hate is such a strong word.....Perhaps "not in favor" would do...V-day, for me, is just another day where in certain people capitalize on the public's penchance for romance, et al...

 

V-day is now synonymous to commercialism...Just another business venture for those in the flower business, motel/hotel business, and others as well...

 

Want to do something special for your special someone? Make an ordinary day V-day....why wait for vday to come...
