ugh.

 

seems like the Old Boy Network finally drew the line for Boras.

this is a bad scenario for the self-styled superagent.

if they give up an inch and settle for less, chasing Boston and agreeing on their terms (as good as the money is, you know the Big Guy wants to compete), it hurts his hard line stance.

teams won't be as willing to play the bargaining game with him anymore.

 

I dunno where the Nats are getting all this money to sign Tex.

they still have to pay for their new ballpark...

they don't really have much of a fanbase...

their lineup's weak and their rotation sucks...even if they get him, dude can only do so much.

 

the one big thing going for Tex here is, since it's a new ballclub with no legacy to speak of, he can make a name for himself in their record books...
