I got myself 2 lines x 350/month, nice cellphones. No problems whatsoever except for some dead spots in the house

I'm a sun user since september of last year (plan 799 easy unlimited). Ngayon I average at 0.15Mbps. Minsan pag sinusuwerte pumapalo ng 0.27mbps. I'm in mandaluyong which should be fast. Tried speedtest.net sa sunshop sa Robinson's Pioneer, they get 1.25Mbps. Pero dito sa amin sa labas ng bahay 0.28Mbps na ang pinakamabilis.

 

I'm planning to complain about this. Nakakainis kasi I'm using the connection every day for work. Anyone else have the same problem? Mas mabilis ba ang smartbro and/or Globe Tatoo?

im using sun pre-paid right now and it seems ok (though last night medyo nabagalan ako, wala pa akong dinodownload nun). I wanna know if malakas yung signal ng Sun (pre- and post-) sa Sampaloc area.

I have tried Globe Tat, Smart Bro (Smart Broken), and Sun Broadband Wireless -- all Wireless. I find Sun the best. Sa Internet Wireless Broadband lang ha. But sa Sun cell phone, Sun sucks big time.

Been using Sun Broadband Wireless kit for about 3 days now... Ito yung supposed free sa hp laptops na broadband kit na may free unlimited internet for 3 months... Bought it for 1K sa isang shop sa megamall. Taguig Area ako near Bicutan. Napaka-bagal ng connection lalo na sa gabi hanggang madaling araw. Halos di ka makapag-browse kahit isang webpage lang. Hindi ito pwede sa downloads. Tamang pang YM lang to for chat, other than that, totally useless na. Sa umaga (kapag may sun) mejo mabilis. Atleast may 3 months akong free unlimited internet na mas mabagal pa sa dial up connection. Kung walang kwenta cellular networks nila, mas malala ang broadband services nila.

Here's my feedback with Sun Broadband Postpaid (799 plan):

 

- I rarely got disconnected. I took note of the times I got disconnected and after 3 months of use, I only got disconnected TWICE. My location is Pasig.

 

- The modem software is very reliable. Connecting is a breeze.

 

- Sure it's slower than the advertised 2mbps but ALL broadband providers are really lying about that. Download speeds are really slow, I don't usually download stuffs so I don't complain. Streaming videos is where its crappy.

 

-The only satisfaction I get using Sun Broadband Postpaid is the reliable connection.

 

Compared to the same time I used Smart Bro Prepaid, I am very satisfied with Sun Broadband. I've posted my feedback with Smart Bro Prepaid on the Smart thread.

At first, ok ang Sun, as in super ok. Nag 2 mbps ako. After a week, wala na. As in Super Bagal na. As a matter of fact, may pending complaint pa ako dun, at di pa naso-solve kaya balik ako ng Tattoo.

 

Sa may plan na mag Sun Broadband Wireless, pag isipan nyo!

been using sun broadband usb internet for awhile now, ang masasabi ko lang mabilis mag browse at magdl pero if you plan to use p2p clients super mabagal ang dl dahil sa policy nila na fair usage ek ek

Every once and a while tumitigil ang net. Kelangan ko pa mag disconnect tapos mag reconnect para maka browse ulit. Hassle.

my aunt bought yung wireless (huwaei) ayun bumibitaw sya....ginarantyahan pa nila na ok ang signal dito, ok nga ang signal pero sa observation namin bumibitaw tlaga sya.....3.6 mpbs daw....i dont think sooo..btw bulacan area to

After 1+ year of Sun postpaid...nag give-up na ako pabagal ng pabagal ang connection to the point na kasing bagal na lang sya ng dial-up. ave. speed na lang nya is less than 100kbps..bumibilis lang around 2-6 am.

at first it was ok, now it's fcking slow here in manila. can't even watch youtube ng tuloy tuloy, or upload facebook pics ng di naghahang.
