nice bike. actually, since nasa probinsya ako ay nagiisip ako kumuha ng isa pang bike and I was thinking of getting a Yamaha. may xrm na kasi ako eh parang magkamukha lang ang honda xrm and suzuki raider.

 

nagtaka lang ako bakit ang yamaha nouvo hindi masyadong kalat like the suzuki and honda? is it because hindi siya customizable/madali i-setup like the XRMs? please give feedback on your bike (like performance, style, fuel efficiency, cost, and maintenance) kasi I am really interested in getting a yamaha nouvo (para maiba kasi dami naka-xrm sa probinsya ko).

 

sino rin ang naka-kawasaki AT dito? kita ko sa isang showroom isang Kawasaki (forgot the model) parang scaled-down model of their 2-stroke bikes wherein the gas tank is situated at the middle, pero 4-stroke siya with step-clutch (automatic?)

I think thats the reason, ala din akong makitang Yamaha na customized tulad ng Honda or Suzuki. According to my friend, ok daw performance ng Yamaha Mio nya, its 125cc. But kung malaking tao ka, its kinda funny to see you riding a Mio.

But still Honda pa rin me.

hehe.. funny thing. this morning at the corner store while bumibili ako ng pang-agahan a yamaha nouvo came and parked at the store. red kulay. maganda pala. one thing though.. parang scooter lang siya hindi motorcycle or motorycycle/hybrid like the xrms. I mean, nasa likod at the wheels ang makina and mukhang walang drive chain. checked the speedometer on the thing (with the owner's permission) at umaabot din pala ng 160 ang hayop. wow..

 

eh sympre.. yung dalawang babae na nakasakay sa motor ang real eyecatcher and not the motorcycle itself.. but that's another story (manyak talaga ako noh.. the best combination pero: babes on motorcycles :goatee: )

actually ang nouvo at mio e hybrid talaga... automatic transmission pero slim type. might wanna check out etong isang naka-set up namin....

ang ayaw ko lang sa nouvo dapa talaga ang takbo sa stock na set up lang. pero gusto ko sya. hehehe di kse ko masyado sa high speed.

unang bike ko dio2, tapos naging TZR 250, after that naging SRX 600...now CB 750 na lng, Old skul bike. fanatic kasi ako ng cruiser, so customized ung CB ko.

stock nouvo from setup nouvo? now im really interested in getting a nouvo. please indulge me.. what setup did you do on your nouvo? i can see that you changed the mags of the wheels (of course pati wheels, hehe).

from my experience..nung stock pa yung nouvo ko it was running at 110kph to 115kph yung top speed. did some mods on the engine to upgrade it to 150cc with the change ng gearings and all, and after that nag top speed yun ng >160 kph. if your more interested in dressing up your nouvo madami na din ngayon available na fairings to convert it to an MX or STD. ^^sure ako marami magsasabi ng honda.

 

first bike? sa honda there's the xrm, wave, and bravo (the popular models) while sa suzuki theres raider and shogun.

 

the other brands are: loncin, yamaha, granstar motors, sinski, kawasaki, and the other made in china that's at the tip of my tongue but forgot the names already.

 

between honda and suzuki there are plenty who choses honda. maglakad ka lang sa parking lot ng sm makikita mo ang mga customized hondas. sa probinsya ko this is the new "fad" similar to the golden age of cellphones where everyone tries to out-customize everyone else. natatawa nga ako minsan because nagiging mobile disco complete with blinking and/or strobe lights ang mga xrm sa kaka-setup.

 

difference between suzuki and honda is like comparing a nokia cellphone with sony ericson.
