Paalala sa mga bumibili ng engine oil sa auto supply or auto parts store, iwasan gumamit ng mga generic, lalo na sa mga mahilig sa synthetic at "genuine" "original" daw na engine oil. Naglipana ang mga peke, ginagaya na pati castrol, mobil, toyota, honda, hyundai. Pati atf, lalo na pang cvt. Much better buy at gasoline station nalang or mismong distributor. Mabilis mag evaporate, nag sludge, kulang sa viscosity ang kadalasan nangyayari.  Drive safe

I ensure the oil I use conforms to the API rating in the car manual.  My vehicle specifies API SM rating or higher. I also use 10W40 for Metro Manila traffic.

Just follow the motor oil specs required in the vehicle manual.  You may be using oil that will not protect your engine due to wrong oil specs. Synthetic, Mineral or Semi-synthetic oil will just dictate the frequency of oil changes. What is important is the motor oil specs , 10W-40, 10W-30 and SM, SN etc. oil rating. You might be using synthetic motor oil but if it is below the required oil rating for your engine then you still risk damage to the engine/more wear and tear.

Fully synthetic oil. And change every 5k kms. Or just regularly check it. For diesel try using Amsoil Max-Duty. Super long lasting sya.
