Just got one card from e-bay today.. Here's the pic.. Can't wait til I get my hand on this baby.. Gustong-gusto ko talagang makuha ito ever since nakita ko naka-post ito.. Its a Duncan Patch Card #d to only 25.. Its a jersey from an All-Star Game worn by Timmy.. --- I know they lost today but I still love Tim Duncan..

Just wanna share another card that I recently won in e-bay.. This is a Tony Parker Jersey Patch Card #9/20.. #9 is TP's Jersey number.. A 1-of-1.. a one of a kind card.. Just got this for 1,600++.. Cheap considering the estimate amount on a regular #'d to 20 card of TP like this is around USD40-60 (no price yet in beckett).. But the #'d to 9 serial number would put this above those prices.. This one has premium stamped all over it.. Ganda..

Yup.. I am interested.. As you could see in my previous posts.. I spend a lot of time and money for my collection.. I am not interested in the regular cards.. Kinda interested in the Colored Gold Signatures of the USA Olympic team.. No offense, ano? But wala akong nakita na ganito sa Beckett.. So, I guess, oddball cards ito.. They don't cost much but meron ding price.. nasa pag-uusap na lang natin..

 

Authenticated sila kung may stamp or something written in the back like: You just received an autographed card from blah blah blah then signed by an executive from the card company.. or just a piece of paper saying that it is authentic from a legit source.. Kung hindi it might just be a fascimile (a replica) of the signature or a signature but not authenticated..

 

Maybe you could post some pics of the US team's autographs.. Maganda din ito for collection especially the Jordan card.. Dream Team I ito di ba? Magtatanong-tanong din ako sa aking mga kapwa kolektor if they have seen a set like this before..

try emailing directly to US olympics center, there they will reply you on your matter of request, but still you have to fall in line just to get from your request. I have tried once yung Jordan and Larry bird (Dream team 1) era olympics team.

They got a whole team poesed and signiture on it. Then Reebok attach a certification of authencity on their each signiture.

Mine (poster 4 pieces set) now cost around US$1,500

 

Just have patience when dealing with US Olympic center madami hinihingi na papers but in the end they will deliver it to you for free.

Its like this dude.. When Shaq was with the Magic hindi siya pwede pumirma na hindi Classic yung brand ng card.. When he left for the Lakers nag-end (99-2000 yata) na ang contract ni Diesel sa Classic.. kaya pumirma na siya sa Fleer and other companies.. FYI lang.. Ngayon, Shaq can only sign Topps cards.. Yung card mo kasi Upper Deck at naka-Magic pa siya so I am assuming that this is not authentic but just a replica of his signature.. Odd-ball nga.. So no price in beckett..

 

I will try to e-mail this to a friend of mine who is a hardcore collector of Shaquille O'Neal..

 

With regards to your question.. The most expensive card I ever bought is a Jordan Autographed Jersey Card worth 500USD.. But mine is graded by Beckett.. so mas mahal ito sa 500USD.. No price given but nasa 600-700USD ito dahil Gem Mint 9 ang grade at Pristine 10 yung signature.. I bought this at Php25K.. Next would be a Tim Duncan Autographed card at Php6,500.00 (USD160 ito sa Beckett).. This is not my most expensive Duncan card.. ang pinakamahal ko na may presyo is at USD200 - autographed din.. but got this for just Php4K.. Iba-iba kasi ang topak ng mga sellers eh.. may mura at may mahal.. Which leads to your 2nd question..

 

Nagbagsakan ba ang prices? Well, no definite answer to your question..

 

I will answer it bit by bit:

 

1) Rookie Cards - yung mga luma same ang prices except for some rare ones like yung kay Kobe sa Topps Chrome na taas-baba ang presyo.. as of now it books at a HI of 225USD.. Kaso yung mga Shaq bumaba na.. like yung Upper Deck niya from USD80 to 40 na lang.. Kaso yung mga rookie cards from Tim Duncan season up to Chris Paul's (current season) are now inserts.. so medyo hard-to-find ang karamihan.. kadalasan ngayon ay numbered to a certain number ang RCs.. Yung iba may jersey sa card or even Autographed.. Case in point.. Chris Paul's SPX RC can go up to as much as 10,000PHP..

 

2) Insert Cards - Di ba dati mga colored, foil, or kakaibang cards lang at autographed - like yung sa Fleer Autographics.. Ngayon ang normal na inserts ay jersey cards.. Bumaba na ang mga colored, foil, etc. - except for those who are really hard to find.. Kahit nga yung mga Platinum Medallion bumaba na eh - except those who are considered to be a key card of a player (ex. Tim Duncan RC Skybox Premium Ruby #d to 100 can fetch up to a whopping 500USD).. Jersey cards were hot before ngayon hindi na.. so mura na lang.. you could get a Jordan jersey na 2000 lang eh.. dati nasa 5-10K ito..

 

3) Patch Cards and Autographed Cards - ito ang mga mahal.. a Lebron James Autographed Exquisite RC Patch #d to 99 is estimated at USD5,500.00 - around 250,000 pesos.. at yung #d to 25 ni Lebron can reach a whopping 16,000USD.. which matches one of the most expensive Jordan Cards.. yung first Jersey card niya na Autographed #d to 23.. Ngayon siguro mas mahal na ito kasi unpriced na siya sa Beckett.. This card of Jordan can fetch you a whopping 500-1M Pesos.. FYI merong may LBJ na Exquisite dito at yung sinasabi kong Jordan Card..

 

Ngayon kadalasan autographed, jersey or patch cards ang mga inserts.. bibihira na yung mga foil sa mga bago.. kaya mababa na usually ang latter..

 

At depende rin ito sa seller (as w/ my example kanina).. kung balahura o mabait yung seller..

 

Another thing, bumaba na ang prices nina Grant Hill, Penny Hardaway.. due to their injuries and limited playing time when both got shipped to other teams..

 

Ang mga talagang tumataas ay yung mga autographed cards ng mga retired and old players like Jerry West, Magic and Bird, etc. .. Lalo na yung kay Wilt and George Mikan..

 

FYI.. Pack and box prices are now expensive.. As compared before.. The cheapest pack today is at 140Pesos.. And the most expensive is at 35,000Pesos - ito yung Exquisite Collection.. Ang mga common na pack prices ngayon ay nasa 500Pesos to P2,000Pesos.. You could just imagine the prices of box and case prices.. I don't buy them (no budget ako dun).. sa e-bay lang ako at trade, bili-bili sa mga nagbubukas.. And I am telling you may nagbubukas dito sa atin na umaaksaya ng limpak-limpak just to open cases and sell cards.. May kakilala ako na nasa Php30M per year ang gastos on opening cases of cards alone.. He sells most of them though..

 

Nga pala.. Just a brief stuff about my collection.. I don't sell my cards.. Usually I only sell common cards and doubles.. I collect Autographed Cards, Duncan cards, and Rookie Cards.. Ito ang core ng collection ko..

SEr Revi sa pagkakaalala ko asa 50-80 lang ang cards nung 1996 - 1998. Sky Box, Upperdeck, Hoops etc.

 

I hope we could make a deal. Gusto ko po sanang sell ang cards ko sayo, lahat na for a package.

 

Half of my Cards came sa friend ng mom ko. He used to own a Card Shop sa Megamall sa basement which closed almost 8yrs ago. He sold the cards to my mom for about 1k. I dont know kung peso or dollar. Galing sa Hong Kong yung mga cards nya po.

 

The other half came from my uncle who lived in the US. Binigay nya sa kin naka packs about 6-7 yrs ago. Yung iba nabili ko naka packed. Galing Cash and Cary, and other shops.

 

I really hope we could make a deal.

Also I think we consider my US collection a hard find since ala sya sa Beckett at ala pa po akong nkikitang my ganon po.

^^Dre, I think your USA Cards are part of the 1993-94 Upper Deck SE USA Trade Series.. Yung mga Fleer na USA sa Fleer Series.. Dream Team II.. The Upper Deck was available via a trade card (1:360 ang odds nito) and the Fleer cards were available in packs.. Ang alam ko nga yung ibang Fleer may parang lenticular na cards.. Apparently, wala ka nung mga lenticulars..

 

Some of the posted cards here are mostly commons pala.. Sorry, dude I am not interested dun sa mga common nina Pippen, etc. .. Wala ka bang mga inserts? Coz dude, if hindi mo ma-se-set yung USA Cards (yung Upper Deck lang ang okay diyan coz nandiyan sina Jordan, Bird) mo walang masyadong value kasi wala tayong kolektor ng mga Tim Hardaways, Steve Smiths, Larry Bird, Magic dito.. Kung set kasi, I would be interested.. I have a price for it dre.. Php800.00 set yun.. coz USD40.00 ito sa Beckett..
