jayburn
i prefer the original ones pero there are some revivals na maganda din.. depende nalang sa songs.. Quote Link to comment
sleekbabe
nothing beats the original. Quote Link to comment
Mango Man
agree with sleekbabe. there are hardly any songs wherein the revival is better than the original. Worse, sometimes the revival makes you cringe! Quote Link to comment
the_passerby5981
Original, of course! Especially so when Pinoy artists "cover" (it's hardly even called covering anymore. Sound-alike, maybe. Worse are the "acoustic versions"!!! Makes no sense at all!) But there are times that revivals eclipse the original in terms of popularity. For example, "The Greatest Love of All" is obviously associated with Whitney Houston. But I prefer George Benson's version, which IS the original version. Who knew?! Quote Link to comment
benjotz417
Quote Link to comment

yrrah123456789
original composition din. okay din revival depende lang din kung sinong mag re-revive at nasa genre pa din ng kanta. Quote Link to comment
blow_gobi
Some of the few revivals I like: "Bette Davis Eyes" - Kim Carnes (original: Jackie de Shannon); "I'll Always Love You" - Whitney Houston (original: Dolly Parton); "Mad World" - Adam Lambert (original: Tears for Fears); "Always be my Baby" - David Cook (original: Mariah Carey). Although not necessarily better than the original. Generally, mas maganda pa rin ang orig. Quote Link to comment
Guest liltits
original ,,its still the best Quote Link to comment
cocoy0
The best revival is a song that became better. Quote Link to comment
greekfire
I dont know.... I used to hate revivals but they seem to be making them better..... At least most of them.. Quote Link to comment
kidbukid
If there is a song na talagang maganda at ni-revive, I usually prefer the original versions than covers.. Minsan kahit same artist remaking the same song, I still prefer the original.. Quote Link to comment
asmodeus
BOYCE AVENUE have been doing some great covers of some of the more popular songs ...... their version of FAST CARS; HERE WITHOUT YOU; WHEREEVER YOU WILL GO; TEENAGE DREAM; FIREWORK, FAITHFULLY and many others are (in my personal taste) quite good. Of course nobodys perfect so I think their version of U2s With or Without You was a bit too "acoustic" even for my taste. Quote Link to comment

Orgasm Donor
kapag mas maganda ang rendition eh revival ako. Quote Link to comment
Superunknown
I love the originals more, but I also appreciate revivals sometime. Like "Hurt" by Johnny Cash is better for me than NIN... Quote Link to comment
