[Trucker]

I'm into trucking business. My trucks haul container vans from south/north harbor to client and vice versa. Medyo malaking investment nga lang but the returns are better than average. If you have two trucks, and you have clients who give you an average of 14 containers weekly, you'll probably have 25k weekly (net of expenses). I just started last year, and so far so good. Kailangan lang talaga that you keep your commitments and manage your people well. Likewise, don't cut your costs on maintenance especially on this kind of equipment. My 3rd truck is coming out this month. :thumbsupsmiley:

i was fortunate to have a wife who works for a freight forwarding company. her company was my first client. because of our performance, we were referred to other freight forwarding companies. the rest, as they say is history.

Bro, this may be true to some extent lang din.. You see we used to own five units of the ever so popular tamaraw FX then. Ok lang 'tong business na 'to if you bought your units cash. Kasi yung talagang life expectancy ng transpo vehicles mga 3 years lang. Dun mo lang pagkakakitaan mga 'to. After nun iba iba nang sakit lalabas sa sasakyan dahil nga bugbog sa pasada (yup kahit ikaw mismo naglalabas). Now after three years eh tataas na maintenance cost mo. So kung di mo pa tapos yung amortization mo within three years sasakit lang ulo mo kung san hahanapin pambayad kasi magaagawan pa kayo ng maintenance.

 

Isa pang sakit sa ulo is kung maka aksidente (knock on wood!) yung unit mo. Being the operator kailangan mong sagutin yung pasahero from the medical expenses up to professional fee kung professional yung naaksidente mo .

 

Masarap lang isispin na malaki kita ng mga taxis and shuttle services na 'to, but in reality hindi din ganun ka easy money. Especially now na congested na tayo sa public transo.

Puhunan ko was about 50k with the cart and supplies when I started about 3 years ago.Today siguro baka 75k na.Sa bagay you can get seconhand carts na quality pa.May kilala ako sa may divisoria na gumagawa nun. Right now ang dilema ko is pwesto, I would prefer places na malapit sa mga public markets and other areas with high pedestrian traffic.Actually marami pa akong concept with foodcarts kaya lang sa ngayon gusto ko munang paandarin yung 2 remaining carts ko.I will be willing to help you guys set up your own o kaya joint venture tayo. :cool: :boo:
