cover_blitz
Para maiba naman..serious topic... What kind of business did you join in na kumita kayo ng malaki.. either you open your own business, part time job.. networking.. Which business/networking you discourage...Trading e-MINI S & P Futures. With minimum US$2,000.00 - it is not difficult to make $30 profit (1600+ pesos) each trading day. Of course it is possible to make more by being aggressive (or greedy) but then it becomes very risky. http://www.tradingmarkets.com/ $30 a day. Is that a gud return on investment? Future trading is a very risky undertaking. I am not quite sure if $30 a day is an acceptable return given the risks involved. And not to mention, tali ang $2000 mo.  Peace out. Quote Link to comment

The market range is 30 ticks or higher each trading day, most traders (inc. me) will not be satisfied with making THREE TICKS ONLY, so willing to assume higher risk for greater profits. For the conservatives, 3 ticks profit per day should not be a problem. Most university students spend more then that amount of money per year in school and are not assured of that level of income after graduation. Edited July 10, 2004 by Macy Quote Link to comment
hellspawn
there's a lot of money to be made in the security industry, specially in close protection, personal protection, and executive protection. given the political climate nowadays and the rising crime rate worldwide, the need for protection specialists has dramatically risen. it's not uncommon to make the equivalent of us$1500-us$2000 a day. some contracts are worth more, the equivalent of us$20000 for a two week contract. some are worth us$250000 for six months. the job isn't for everyone. the hours are long and tedious, boredom is always a factor, and there's the ever present risk of injury or death. if you're a family man/woman i suggest you don't get into it. if you're fat and lazy you won't make it. if you have any sort of physical impediment, like asthma, don't get into it. if you have strong political or religious beliefs don't get into it. if your girlfriend/boyfriend doesn't want you away from home for long periods don't get into it. ladies, if you don't like being propositioned, groped, fondled, mashed, insulted, or made the object of crude sexist jokes, don't get into it. Mike_Hunter
franchising is a promising business...low risk and 97% success rate...it is the fastest rising business concept in the Phils. now.... i've done networking pero it is very tedious and you may not recover ur money....and there are lots of pyramid scams posing as legit mlm's. so beware of that...scams are everywhere i augmented my income months back by buying used PlayStation and selling it for profit.. also buy and sell of small digicams ... i also tried selling my own stuff that is no longer being used at home...with price much higher than when i bought it years back... igilah
starting a business... depende naman 'yan sa skills mo e. okay ka ba'ng sales? o nasa IT ka? kung magaling ka'ng magluto, food industry. gym is good kung ang background mo nasa gym. pero, am not so hot on the promise of making $30 per day (promise lang 'yon, hindi guaranteed) at the risk of losing $2k. the upside is you start making money after 67 days. the downside is you lose your money and would have to come up with more. been there, done that during the high of the internet market -- day trading. for me, IT consulting, doon ang skills ko. (http://www.espeleta.net.) ang tanong: ano ang hilig mo? Quote Link to comment
igilah
atsaka, depende rin pala sa location mo. example: di ka pwede tinda ng bigas kung nakatira ka sa community na bukiran ng palay. criteria for starting a business: 1. define the need by assessing lacks of target community2. determine personal skills and whether that is enough to fill the need (#1). If not, must hire personnel;2. define the services that would service that need;3. define cost to provide service(s) (personnel? equipments? etc.);4. define cost to market service(s) (flyers, banners, newspapers/magazine ads, etc.);5. based on 3 and 4, formulate how much you will charge to cover the overhead and make a profit. based on 3 and 4, you will find that you can either be competitive or your potential customers would be better off going to bigger organizations. again, all depends upon your location, your skills, and the help (employees -- meaning more overhead) you will require. good luck! tanong lang kayo if you need help.
