rooster69ph
wla kng ksing alam d mo alam kalakaran sa PPP...umamin kn nga wla kng alam eh! the sovereign guarantees makes us all tax payers IDIOTS! d mo b nagets!WHAT AN ASSUMPTION lol.... So what about the sovereign guarantee feature in all government securities? And i am not only referring to government securities issued by the RP but all GS issued by any countries for that matter which obviously has sovereign guarantee in it. So all countries are IDIOTS If i were to follow your argument. Ikaw lang ang matalino ano po? Lol👏👏👏 I have explained it to you ... Tulad ng sabi ko if you are correct that a sovereign guarantee is grossly advantageous to the one that will engage in the PPP, and the PNoy admin gives this so called "illegal sovereign guaranty" as you've claimed how could it be the cause na kaya kakaunti ang natuloy na ppp. Claiming that the other party ay walang alam at hindi alam ang kalakaran ng PPP won't help your cause. Hindi maitatago nito ang maling argumento mo. Ikaw na rin nagsabi, " only private companies who are involve in PPP KNOWA IT" are you involve in PPP to know all of these? tomagants
OOOPppppps.. As per spoke person of Piston. The change into modernization of vehicles is being deliberately covered by a corporate interest to an individual.?? Kung babaguhin o e modernize ang mga vehicles will this mean easing the traffic during the peak hours. Holidays are in the air try to go to divisoria for economical shopping. Tell me if I am wrong if one will not get stuck up for at least a min of one hour. Quote Link to comment
darksoulriver
nganga! ION modernation of Jeepneys will not solve or ease the traffic problem, as long wlang bagong gawang kalsada or major routes sa NCR.. dagdag mo pa yung dumadaming private vehicles magtitiis parin si Juan sa grabeng traffic. wek1012
if they gonna proceed with jeepney upgrade and route rationalization, some jeepney route should not be served by current sized jeepeneys. larger ones should replace them instead. like in recto, there are just too many jeepneys Quote Link to comment
rooster69ph
my fears on the modernization program has somewhat been validated thru an interview of a ltfrb official in a radio program yesterday. Ayaw na ng ltfrb magbigay ng fare increase sa ngayon because of the impending modernization program. Sabi kasi ang nirarason ng mga driver eh yun pagtaas ng presyo ng diesel but most specially yun maintenance cost dahil sa piyesa. Eh ang sabi under the modernization program since bago lower maintenance cost. Come to think of it, hindi kaya pro operator ang programang ito? I wonder if microfinancing will be easily made available for them as well. I think the gov't should have considered this and come up with a concrete IRR.Ahahahaha. Nice segwey!!! Napansin mo din pala. Quote Link to comment
Freddie C.
Quote Link to comment

Hindi totoo yang sinasabi mo. Mahigit PhP1000 - 1500 ang kinikita ng PUJ. At typically PhP 600 ang boundary. A jeepney driver makes at least PhP 600 a day after deducting boundary and fuel cost. The operator, on the other hand, gets PhP 600 boundary, but the maintenance cost is a continuing burden. Quote Link to comment

So as if ikaw at yan sinabi mo ang tanging tama. https://blackhelios.wordpress.com/2012/06/05/a-confession-of-a-jeepney-driver/ Quote Link to comment
tk421
Wow... so with the Jeepney Modernization scheme, the operator might want to take in more boundaries because of the high cost of the new units. Coupled with the new tax scheme the poor Jeepeney driver will be sure on the losing end. Yes, I know the new jeepneys are supposed to be electric and should not be affected by the rise in fuel cost... but electricity is also indirectly affected by the tax scheme, right? Also sa jeep kapag mas mahaba mas mahal. Quote Link to comment
rooster69ph
@haroots Not only on the unit but more likely the route plays a significant factor in determining the boundary. So are you saying the article is baseless? Quote Link to comment
