rooster69ph
Basta sinabing illegal eh illegal daw, period! Wow! Hindi pa nga naiimplement eh gusto mo may maihirit na agar agad? Pero sige pagbibigyan kita sa pananaw ko ... In principle i think this is a good move but as to whether or not it will solve the traffic situation in edsa i do have some reservations. It will largely depend on how motorist will react as i see that there are two sides to it. So at this point wait and see muna tayo kung magiging epektibo ba siya. We all know the mmda wants to reduce vehicle volume in Edsa to ease traffic. They proposed two day coding which the mayors shut down. naisip din nila na ipagbawal sa edsa yun mga sasakyan na iisa lang ang sakay. Me thinks the HOV is the "alternative compromise" to these. What do i expect? I don't know the exact statistics kung ilan ba sa mga dumadaan sa edsa ang may dalawa at least ang sakay but based on a recent interview mmda claims mas malaking percentage ang single passenger vehicle na dumadaan sa edsa. So assigning an exclusive lane to them (HOV) as possible "fast lane" makes sense. What do i mean by that? Based on principle bibilis ang daloy sa hov lane but bibigat naman sa natitirang 2 lane na for non-hov. So kung single rider ka at alam mo na ganito mangyayari well uniwas ka na sa edsa di ba. And if madami ang ganitong magisip then luluwag din daloy ng trapiko sa non-hov lane. On the other hand those thinking na may fast lane na for hov baka magsidagsaan naman ang paggamit ng edsa yun mga dating gumadamit na ng alternative routes dahil inaakalang mas mapapabilis sila mageedsa na ngayon since hov naman sila. If that happens we would have a higher volume of hov that what was not expected to begin with so balik slow moving lane na naman ang hov lane. Well on the positive side maganda kung car pooling ang mangyari meaning isasabay mo ang kaopisinang on the way naman papasok at pauwi para maging hov ka at magamit yun fast lane. E paano kung ang pagiisip eh isasama ko na lang si maria yun iyong kasambahay kahit di naman talaga kailangang isama sa biyahe just to circumvent it. O ayan para mapagbigyan ang hiling mo i think that is a fair and realistic assessment at this point in time considering hindi pa naman implemented don't you think? tk421
Parang kulang pa din yun HOV lane yan. If I read it right, it says it is described as having at least 2 persons in a vehicle, including the driver? That not high occupancy. Minimum 3 dapat diba? Quote Link to comment

Halimbawa lamang na agad un mga taong can afford to hire a driver.Or sabi ko nga isama mo na lang kahit sino like yun kasambahay to work around it. Quote Link to comment
tomagants
Do you think anyone will have the balls to implement these. Based on his track record as mayor and the good stories we hear, if there is anything i do hope he can do is issue the order immediately. Sa totoo lang yun order nga niyang to clear all the street hindi nga masunodsunod ... Do you think anyone will have the balls to implement these. wek1012
I think I read an article a few years ago about Indonesia implementing hov lane. I remember they mentioned people were able to think of ways to go about it. Quote Link to comment
Jasonkidd
Traffic talaga hindi na kayang solusyunan..Pero kayang bawasan or ayusin if talagang may disiplina. Check recto divisoria. Quote Link to comment

rooster69ph
I doubt with the way you argue your point. Now i realized as well the reason why you just want to leave your statement as is and not expound further...let me expose it. For example, as far as sovereign guarantee is concerned, what is wrong with that? This is not the first time na nagbigay ng sovereign guarantee ang gobyerno. Halimbawa ang mga government securities issued comes with a sovereign guarantee, yun nangutang ang quedancor via the issuance of bond and notes nagbigay ang pamahalaan ng sovereign guarantee. Bininigay yan as an additional "safety net" o "assurance" sa mga "investors o contractors" in case certain events are not met otherwise without this assurance it may not be an atractive venture for them because of certain risk whick they might not be willing to take. Having said that, what is illegal about it when the gov't is allowed to issue sovereign guarantee in the first place? However may risk din yan sa gobyerno which is why it should be careful and selective in issuing sovereign guarantees. But the point it what is it's relevance to your claim/ argument na "baka illegal kaya kokonti ang PPP". Honestly dear i don't see any relevance to it. Sovereign guarantee if given are credit enhancers beneficial actually to the investors or the private companies that will engage in PPP ...moreso if this is grossly beneficial to the investor which is why it maybe deemed "illegal" (on the part of the issuer not to whom it was issued). So how can it do more harm than good to them to shy away sa project for you to say dahil may illegal (pertaining to the sovereign guarantee) kokonti ang PPP. Let me tell you this if lahat ng PPP binigyan ng sovereign guarantee that would be grossly beneficial to the private companies specially in terms of returns, it will definitely sell like hotcakes as because these companies will no longer have to do extensive evaluation on costing and profitability which is one considerations actually for the delay in take-up. As such the effect should be mas dadami ang natuloy na PPP instead na yun sinasabi mong kaya naging kokonti. But since we're at it i also gave you my thought of its pros and cons. Sino ba ngayon nagmumukhang BOY SISI sa ating dalawa ngayon? Lumalabas puros baseless yan bintang at sisi mo bro. Boy sisi ka talgaAy sus kahit anong project mo at mag name calling ka diyan ng "boy sisi" kita naman ampao yun argumento mo about sovereign guarantee ...kaya it won't help your cause. Siguro nga i really don't get yun iniisip mong walang ka sense-sense. No wonder you state it (kaya kokonte) with a "?" ... darksoulriver
wla kng ksing alam d mo alam kalakaran sa PPP...umamin kn nga wla kng alam eh! the sovereign guarantees makes us all tax payers IDIOTS! d mo b nagets! Quote Link to comment
rooster69ph
wla kng ksing alam d mo alam kalakaran sa PPP...umamin kn nga wla kng alam eh! the sovereign guarantees makes us all tax payers IDIOTS! d mo b nagets!WHAT AN ASSUMPTION lol.... So what about the sovereign guarantee feature in all government securities? And i am not only referring to government securities issued by the RP but all GS issued by any countries for that matter which obviously has sovereign guarantee in it. So all countries are IDIOTS If i were to follow your argument. Ikaw lang ang matalino ano po? Lol👏👏👏 I have explained it to you ... Tulad ng sabi ko if you are correct that a sovereign guarantee is grossly advantageous to the one that will engage in the PPP, and the PNoy admin gives this so called "illegal sovereign guaranty" as you've claimed how could it be the cause na kaya kakaunti ang natuloy na ppp. Claiming that the other party ay walang alam at hindi alam ang kalakaran ng PPP won't help your cause. Hindi maitatago nito ang maling argumento mo. Ikaw na rin nagsabi, " only private companies who are involve in PPP KNOWA IT" are you involve in PPP to know all of these? tomagants
OOOPppppps.. As per spoke person of Piston. The change into modernization of vehicles is being deliberately covered by a corporate interest to an individual.?? Kung babaguhin o e modernize ang mga vehicles will this mean easing the traffic during the peak hours. Holidays are in the air try to go to divisoria for economical shopping. Tell me if I am wrong if one will not get stuck up for at least a min of one hour. Quote Link to comment
darksoulriver
nganga! ION modernation of Jeepneys will not solve or ease the traffic problem, as long wlang bagong gawang kalsada or major routes sa NCR.. dagdag mo pa yung dumadaming private vehicles magtitiis parin si Juan sa grabeng traffic.
