boomouse Posted January 1, 2005 Share Posted January 1, 2005 Early in this thread, I had a restored 1990 MB CE230 in full Brabus trim. Sold that.Had a 1997 Subaru Impresa WRX in full STi trim. Sold that.Also had a 1994 Toyota Hilux Surf SSR-X. Gave that to my son. Daily driver is now a BMW X5 3.0 diesel all stock but for the Blaupunkt Chicago sounds setup. For quick trips, I have a Mitsu Lancer EVO 8. Not quite a Subaru Impreza which I still think is the better car for this country even if the EVO has loads more power. But maintenance is easier because 1. there are more Mitsu parts around/more people drive EVOs and 2. It is newer. Sounds here is the stock Impreza McIntosh stereo with the powered Infinity space saver subs which I swapped out of the Sube before selling it. I also killed the spoilers and painted the intercooler in black thermal paint. That way, it looks like an ordinary lancer trying to look like an EVO. Ang sarap manlampaso ng mga Honda na maingay. Kahit yun mga naka setup na makina o yun mga nka Spoon o Mugen engine walang sinabi! But I don't race. Mabagal nga ako magpatakbo wag lang maka engkwentro ng mga maingay na kotseng nagpapanggap na mabilis. Kung BMW M3 o Porsche Carrera, sige pagbigyan na, may katwiran sila mag-ingay. A fverry uel efficient car and sporty for just zippin arround town and using to get to and from work... fuel mileage is around 40miles to a gallon. I also have a second car ... A Black 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4, which sad to say is a gas guzzler at only 17 mile to agallon, however this is my choice for roadtrips, and going out in the country, 4wheeling, MT biking , camping, or SCUBA diving....
