Paul at BGC is good. It shouldn't cost an arm and a leg if you know the house specialties to order. People make the mistake of ordering beef, salmon, chicken or whatever. Hindi naman yan specialty ng Paul and they really cost a lot. No surprise they end up disappointed. Buy a cup of coffee and a few basic breads. Ask for butter. It shouldn't cost more than P300. That's just around a hundred more than what you'd pay at Starbucks but the quality of the bread and coffee is a lot better. Of course, walang sinabi pa rin ang Paul dito sa bakeries ng Makati Shang or Fairmont. Paul is just a lot better than your usual mall chains like Starbucks.

For the everyday cheap coffee shop, I visit Cafe France. I just like their coffee better than Starbucks and I like more variety to my bread/pastries. Mura pa.
