libraprime
I prefer the LENOVO S-10 mini. 1GB RAM, bluetooth, wi-fi, 10" monitor, 87% keyboard, 160GB HDD. Comes in 6-cell (5-6hrs) and 3-cell (2-3 hrs) batteries. Bought a 6-cell LENOVO S-10-2 (newest model) 2 weeks ago and it is better than the S-10 model released 6months ago. Weighs only 1.1 kilos w/o the charger (which weighs about 400g). Upgrade the RAM to 2GB if u want it to perform faster, but Im content with the 1GB I have now. best features are the bluetooth and wifi capability, light weight, and relatively larger (10") screen than other netbooks. popoybato
I bought a backpack labeled airtech, its design are not striking but the function serves well, it has air pockets that is circulating air inside for maximum cushioning, unlike the traditional cushions that tends to distort and wears out in time. very nice for travelers who bangs their bag often. masurao
For long travels I prefer the backpack. Can pack a lot in it, especially for the occasional overseas trip. For the daily commute though, the shoulder bag is better, especially if you have to ride the MRT. Quote Link to comment
remoteworld
For long travels I prefer the backpack. Can pack a lot in it, especially for the occasional overseas trip. For the daily commute though, the shoulder bag is better, especially if you have to ride the MRT.10 years ago when notebooks used to cost 100k or more, it's 'wise' to use a plain-looking bag for it. now that notebooks are passe and the prices have dropped tremendously, putting them in fashionable bags is in. after all, part of the reason why you bought that laptop is 'para i-porma', di ba? well, if you plan to bring in the charger as well, better buy a bag with extra pocket for it. but if your intention is limited to flaunting it, better leave the charger home it's always practical to use a backpack (as long as its sleeves inside are adequate to protect your laptop), especially in travels. the charger and wires that go with it will add excess baggage and bulk in your designer shoulder bag. SpecNyt
personally ang hirap gamitin ang shoulder bag with a big laptop, so gamit ko backpack. but i guess kung netbook lang naman dala mo eh shoulder bag's good enough! Quote Link to comment
friedkamote
Mas ok para sa akin ang backpack. Comfortable at di halata na laptop ang bitbit ko. Yun nga lang, pag may management meeting or workshop ako na pupuntahan na medyo formal, hindi mukang professional dating ko. Quote Link to comment
