Guest megalodon
adversity brings out the worst and the best in us. just like the nuggets . down 3-1, they lose nene and the bench steps up.nice win by denver. hope the jazz close out the nuggets on satrday or else it'll be hell to pay in game 7 at the pepsi center .I hope the four playoff series in the West goes the distance. zagan
Guest megalodon
Congrats to the Jazz and the thread starter FF for advancing to the Western semis. The Jazz are gonna be a facing a team though that's had their number for the past 2 playoffs. Anyway, beat LA! Hehe. Quote Link to comment

Hehe. thanks sharkman. grit and guts (and the denver meltdowns) were the keys in the jazz series win . boisbastos must be very happy too as it looks like the lakers are now a lock to go to the series finals. i understand his happiness. as you've pointed out the lakers have always owned the jazz when they've met in the last two playoffs. i hope that the lakers get a bit overconfident and that the jazz play with the same spunk they showed in the denver series. There will be AT LEAST one game where the Jazz will be running us to the ground and those idiots will be going "but, but, but....they don't even have Okur!" Think Houston series last year. Then there's also the inevitable, "let's ignore the fact that we have the advantage inside and instead get into a jack-up-the-random-3-match." Then we wonder why we were blown out. It happened all season, in the OKC series, no reason to expect it wouldn't happen again. Edited May 2, 2010 by boibastos Quote Link to comment
Vegasboy32
Eto lang yon in the past kahit nandoon si Kirelenko at Okur may ipinanalo ba silang series sa Lakers? Wala. In 2008, partida pa sila wala si Bynum at Ariza. The Lakers won in 6 games against the Jazzy. Last year. Nanalo ang Lakers ulit against the Jazz in 5 games. One win by the Utah Jazzy doesn't eliminate the Lakers. Edited May 2, 2010 by Vegasboy32 Quote Link to comment

complicated8
May swagger din naman si Deron and Boozer. Did you see that dunk (and 1) by Deron on Artest? I'm just hoping that the lakers keep improving in the playoffs because they haven't been the same at the end of the regular season and early against the thunder. Quote Link to comment
FF
the lakers are truly part of the combustible mix of nba playoff basketball.:-) seems like kobe and company always draw the attention of the most passionate posters in mtc. just keep it civil gentlemen. as it is we have seen the mods clamp down mercilessly when the posting becomes a tad "overenthusiastic". just saw the game highlights and the jazz were in the game behind by just one pint with 1:45 left in the 4th quarter. perhaps the difference between this jazz team and the last two beaten by LA is that the team is tougher and shoots the three with more confidence.go jazz and steal one from the lakers . complicated8
Jazz lost but valiant effort. Lakers not locking down on defense on the jazz on 3rd/4th quarters. Quote Link to comment
FF
too long, too big,too quick and too much kobe. the jazz take it on the chin and head home down 0-2. still and all i'm proud the jazz. they could've dogged it,and given up when the lakers led by 15 but they fought all the way back to close within four. sloan's boys have nothing to be ashamed of as they left everything on the floor. time to head home boys, heal up and let's hope the crowd gives the team a lift.gooooooooooooooooooo jazz ! boibastos
Lakers, as usual, playing with no sense of urgency after getting a 2-0 series lead. It's a miracle the Jazz are only up by 8 in the 2nd. Quote Link to comment
