Gambling - What is your Game?

Recommended Posts

Ive seen Pacman and Efren Bata at SAnjuan coliseum on a billiard match, friendly game daw Php300,000 ang pustahan, Best of 7. Pacman +2. Panalo si bata sa billiArds pero laki nman ng inuwi ni pacman dahil panalo 3 manok nya sa derby.

The only questions for Pacquiao are: How much longer can he keep on winning in boxing, and how long he can hold on to that money. PacMan seems hell bent on gambling like there's tomorrow, while Efren is just doing his normal work at making a living off his skills.

does anyone here know a casino where they specialize in slot machines only? i know with slot machines, the chances of you winning is slimmer than the table games but if your lucky (i mean really really lucky), you hit the jackpot....and i know they are required to have a payout ratio by the governing body...i think bettter chance of success than lotto kasi...

in my opinion, gambling can't be that bad if:

1. you know the true odds of the game and knows how to play the game very well

2. you have the patience

3. you have the discipline ( to quit when your ahead or stop chasing a loss)

to some this is more like running a business if you can earn money by consistently winning in selected casino games or other games of chance.

in some situation, gambling can be better than running your own business. why?

1. you dont have to pay taxes and

2. the odds of earning is greater than some business i know of. for example, you own a cellphone shop in a mall. there are other 9 cellphone shops in there so the probability that a customer will buy from you is 1/10 or 10% and the profit you will have from a sale (gross) will more or less be like 20% only. if you bet in a game of baccarat ( super six, assume you will bet player). the odds of winning will be a little less than 50% only and your money will increase by 100% if you win.

so to compare:

Odds of winning (or making a sale)

a. business = 10%

b. baccarat = a little less than 50%

Amount earned upon a win ( or making a sale)

a. business = 20% gross ( lets deduct the rent, employees salaries, and other overhed later)

b. baccarat = 100%

so gambling is really not that bad. its just the same with spending or investing in a business that you have no knowledge of and with a very stiff competition.

When you're an official of a country that is the considered by the US Secret Service as the main source and producer

of what it describes as the "Super Money," (fake $ that are highly un-detectable even by the latest and most sophisticated counterfeit-detection machines) you have practically nothing to lose even in high-stakes gambling.
