Congrats Bro. It means you have a good relationship with your bank. A financial institution has a pre-qualified list of clients. These are individuals who maintain good standing with the bank (e.g. has good amount of deposit, avails of other products, or didn't forgo any liabilities).

As soon I got the text na approved na ako at on its way na raw iyong card ,nadeliver sa akin after 3 days.

Metrobank... Ugh... Super hirap nila kausap. Minsan ko lang gamitin pero madalas may problema. Aabutin pa ng madaming months bago nila ireverse yung extra charges.

BPI vs Citibank

Mas mataas magbigay Citi ng credit limit. Pero mas madalas mali nila sa statement or billing. Had 3 or 4x na mali. Pinareverse ko naman. Si BPI mas accurate and conservative sa experience ko.

Metrobank is okay, but I just hate that they were calling monthly to offer insurance. Modus pa nila kunwari kunwari check lang ng account etc..

I haven't gotten a call though for 3 months now though. Nag-pa transfer lang ako sa supervisor and cited data privacy laws etc..

I only have bpi credit card. annual fee was waived, but I need to purchase anything worth 10k for 3 months.That includes the amount on an item I've been paying for.

Kas-kas ng kas-kas. Pag bayaran na, kamot ng kamot. Better to always bring cash for daily use. Tempting and cards, the lower the limit the better. Mabilis magpile up yan. 160k pa utang ko hahaha limit naman eh 1 mil.

Metrobank maganda. Nagiincrease ng credit limit mag isa. BDO at BPI maganda pag may bank account ka sa kanila para online transactions.

Before getting a credit card, be sure that you have self control. You can't just swipe it anytime, anywhere, on anything you want. Otherwise, mababaon ka talaga sa utang.

 

For instance back in December during the 12-12 promo ng Lazada, a news site reported that someone shopped a total of more than 1 million worth of good from Lazada. If that's how you shop (impulsive), then probably you have to stay away from credit cards.

 

For instance, BDO was offering me their platinum card with unlimited credit limit. However, I don't use credit cards, as I prefer to pay cash/debit cards. However since credit cards are safer to use online than debit cards, I decided to get their Gold instead.

 

Basta know your limits and be a responsible shopper. No one deserves the burden of thinking about how to pay their bills day in and day out.
