MODERATOR Alex_Corvis Posted January 19, 2008 MODERATOR Share Posted January 19, 2008 sir pano ayaw magverify? ako i tried my BDO and na credit yun minimum amount tapos nagpalipas ako ng ilan days i called my operator and iniwan ng paypal yun verification number ko kaya verifed account na ako kaso takot pa ako gamitin kasi im not sure how.. i'm hoping nga someone here can help me or correct my presumptions thanks question muna. soryy medyo magulo eh (kasi ang alam ko Unionbank EON palang ang verified sa pinas) 1. You used your BDO mastercard to verify your account, hence PP charged you 1.95USD? 2. You called your BDO operator and verified that PP charged you? 3. When you call BDO did they give you the PAYPAL BATCH number that is required, and you went to your PP account and input the batch number to complete the verification process? if all your answer is yes, then verifed ka na nga. Now to your question, you want to use your PP account to purchase right? Well that's easy, if you go to a website like e-bay, amazon or other online store and you saw the paypal logo there, you can just click that to purchase. Ganun lang. Its fairly simple, and very secured. For ebay for example, if you were scammed by your seller, and did not deliver the product you purchased, you can email PP for a dispute and they will refund you back the money you spent. MODERATOR Alex_Corvis Posted January 27, 2008 MODERATOR Share Posted January 27, 2008 !!!UPDATE!!! Effective yesterday, PayPal started allowing users in the Philippines to withdraw funds to local bank accounts. Yup, it’s confirmed. Log in to your PayPal account and see that in the My Account > Withdraw page, you now have an option to directly transfer funds from your PayPal account to your bank account in the Philippines. Withdrawal transactions are expected to be processed within 5-7 business days. There is no charge if the transaction amount is P7,000 or more but there is a P50.00 fee if the amount to be withdrawn is P6,999.99 or less. A P250.00 return fee is charged if you entered incorrect details about your bank account so make sure you input the correct information. To withdraw, you must attach a bank account first to your PayPal account. Once added, you can directly submit a withdrawal request. Try it now! Go to PayPal and let us know about your funds transfer experience. ===== If you are withdrawing PayPal to your bank account in the Philippines, you’re probably wondering what the “Bank Code” is. If this is your first attempt to withdraw PayPal, you need to add a bank account to your PayPal account first. To do this, log in to PayPal, go to My Account > Profile > Add or Edit Bank Account then fill in the Bank Name, Account Number, and Bank Code. What is the Bank Code? We contacted Metrobank and their customer representative told us that the Bank Code is a unique 9-digit code assigned to a bank to easily identify the parties to a money transfer or remittance transaction. It is also called the Routing Number or the ABA Number. It is NOT the bank’s Swift Code. We summarize below the Philippine Bank Codes that we have collected. We do not guarantee the following is correct. Bank Codes were gathered based on online research, calls to banks’ Hotlines, and PMT members’ postings. A P250.00 return fee is charged if you request withdrawal with incorrect details. Metrobank 026002846 Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) / BPI Family Savings Bank 021000021 Citibank / Citibank Savings 021000089 Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) 021000018 Chinabank 020100113 ***notes* Banco de Oro insists that for money transfers, the only required information is the BDO SWIFT Code (BNORPHMM). We asked for their Bank Code but claimed they don’t have it. It was confirmed that this Swift Code is not accepted in Paypal. We’ll wait until BDO has issued their Bank Code. ** Unionbank told us that they currently do not disclose the Bank Code, instead they only give their SWIFT Code: UBPHPHMM. We tried this but PayPal did not accept it. We’ll post an update once UnionBank has released the information. *** We are yet to determine the Bank Codes of Philippine National Bank (PNB), HSBC, UCPB, Allied Bank, Security Bank, and other banks. The people we have talked to were either unaware of this information or hesitant to disclose it pending confirmation from their supervisors. The bank codes will be added to this post as soon as we get them. If you already have them, please post a comment below. Thank you! info from www.pinoymoneytalk.com Quote Link to comment
