Hardcore Holly Sent Home By WWE

The word going around right now is that Hardcore Holly has been sent home by WWE as punishment.

The belief is that he was involved in some sort of prank backstage that went too far. As of right now, there's been no confirmed reports about what the prank was or who was involved in the prank.

Hardcore Holly does have a history of being very abusive towards the younger wrestlers in the company. Many feel that he comes off as a very bitter person who likes to take his frustration out on younger wrestlers.

There's a slight chance that Hardcore Holly could even be released over the incident.

WWE Issues Legal Letter to Ultimate Warrior

The Ultimate Warrior's latest publicity stunt to generate some income has caused WWE to send some legal threats his way.

During the Great American Bash, the Ultimate Warrior held an autograph signing in a location that was very close to the Nassau Coliseum. The Ultimate Warrior even advertised that he was bringing the WWE title with him to the signing.

It's quite obvious that the Ultimate Warrior had intended to capitalize on WWE's appearance in the area to make himself a quick buck.

Backstage Heat on Michelle McCool

A couple of weeks ago, there were reports that Michelle McCool was having friction with Natalya Neidhart. According to sources, Natalya Neidhart was offended by Michelle McCool trying to teach her how to wrestle despite having a lot less experience and skills than the 2nd generation star.

Well, sources are now stating that Michelle McCool is also rubbing the other divas wrong as well with her constantly trying to teach what she views as the "WWE style" of wrestling.

There's a theory going around right now that her relationship with the Undertaker, who has a ton of stroke backstage, is causing her to act in a different manner.

Looks like WWE has come to their senses and canceled the proposed plan of moving the ECW brand over to the Raw brand.

ECW/Raw Merger Dropped

For those of you that aren't aware, the ECW brand travels with the Smackdown brand right now.

Both companies do their television tapings on Tuesday night in the same arena.

A couple of weeks ago, it was revealed that WWE was going to switch the ECW brand over to the Raw brand.

Well, it looks like WWE has decided to scrap those plans after realizing how bad of an idea that it would be.

No Room

One of the main reasons why WWE decided to scrap the idea is because there simply isn't enough room.

It's hard enough for the guys on the Raw roster right now to get a spot on television and house shows.

Talented performers like Charlie Haas, Paul London, and Val Venis have trouble getting on television.

Those guys do, however, get to fill out spots on the house shows.

Since the roster is so deep on Raw, it would have been virtually impossible for most of the ECW guys to get a spot on house shows.

Wrestlers rely on house shows to make a lot of their money.

Without a spot, some of the wrestlers wouldn't be making enough money to make their jobs with WWE worthwhile.

Too Much Stress

Another reason why WWE chose to cancel the ECW/Raw merger is because Mondays are already stressful.

Despite the shift in star power during the WWE Draft Lottery, Monday Night Raw remains the flagship show.

Vince McMahon puts more focus into Monday Night Raw than he does Smackdown.

That's why Mondays are a lot more stressful for the company.

With so much stress already, it would have added quite a burden to the company if they had to do another show.

While it isn't exactly a breeze to tape Smackdown, the guys in the company have already grown accustomed to doing two shows on Tuesday nights.

Closing Thoughts

Smart move by WWE.

Of course, had they listened to the fans on this one, they would have known that it was a bad idea a while back.

When the reports first surfaced about the switch, most wrestling fans were instantly against the idea.
