MODERATOR tamago Posted January 28, 2008 MODERATOR Share Posted January 28, 2008 ^ Twas definitely a shock Just watched in SM Megamall. The Flair-MVP match was a bit boring. The JBL-Y2J was good but was kinda fast. The Championship matches were really good. Cena winning the Royal Rumble,... what a shock I loved it when he, Batista & HHH were the final 3 and each gave their opponents their signature hand movements: Batista gave Cena & HHH the thumbs down, Cena gave HHH & Batista the "you-can't-see-me" wave, and HHH gave the both of the crotch chops Superfly & Piper in the Rumble? Crap. They could have given those spots to other wrestlers Quote Link to comment

burgess732002
Festus the big guy would have been a more interesting participant or maybe even Super Crazy who can steal a show with a wicked stunt, but definitely not the 2 oldies. Both were so out of shape I was praying so hard that Snuka be eliminated the moment he entered the ring :thumbsdownsmiley: Superfly & Piper in the Rumble? Crap. They could have given those spots to other wrestlers Quote Link to comment
MODERATOR tamago Posted January 29, 2008 MODERATOR Share Posted January 29, 2008 Comic relief/filler lang si Snuka & Piper sa Rumble :thumbsdownsmiley: The should stop doing that, giving Rumble spots to the geriatric wrestlers. They had their time. I was hoping Piper wouldn't take off his shirt seeing that he has a big gut. Unfortunately, he did. I thought I saw Flair in the Rumble for a while until I realized Snuka developed manboobs of his own :thumbsdownsmiley: Quote Link to comment
rsc1221
John Cena will cash his championship opportunity in No Way out and not in Wrestlemania 24. Thier will be an Elimination Chamber match in NWO - HHH, Shawn Michael, Y2j, JBL, Jeff Hardy and Umaga. The winner will face the winner of Orton vs Cena match. I believe HHH will win NWO and battles Orton at Wrestlemania for the title. It means John Cena will just be a filler so that HHH can go to WM24 main event. Quote Link to comment

beastmode
Mukhang may "triple threat championship match" sa WM24 ah. Pero if I will base on the trends I believe ang mananalo ng world title will be a first time champion or mare-retain lang. Quote Link to comment
Kazekage.Gaara
The Rumble match was good. Cena ruined it. FEARLESS FORECAST: Am betting on either Triple H or Shawn Michaels or Jericho to win the Chamber match. Jeff Hardy may win it... depends on what happens in RAW in the next few weeks. bret_hart
Money In The Bank Match Plans, Joey Mercury Admits Faults, 80s WWF Stars Coming Out Of RetirementSubmitted by Daniel Pena on Thursday, January 31, 2008 at 5:13 PM EST source: www.f4wonline.com -- WWE plans on holding a Money in the Bank match for the fourth consecutive year at WrestleMania 24 in Orlando. The match will feature Jeff Hardy and five other big stars WWE doesn't have any plans for at WrestleMania. -- Former WWE Tag Team Champion Joey Mercury has posted a unique blog in which he admits his faults and how he "lost it all." Mercury writes: "The well-informed die-hard fans of ROH have heard the rumors. "Joey's life is in shambles", "Joey has personal issues", "Joey has demons", "Joey showed up in 'no condition to perform'". That's the thing about rumors, they're usually true. In this case, they were. 3 drug overdoses, 7 car wrecks, a 5 month stay in drug & alcohol rehabilitation, and countless broken hearts along the way, including my own. My former employer did everything they could for me. They gave me chance after chance after chance. I did this to myself." You can read his piece in its entirety at this link. -- 80s WWF stars Demolition and One Man Gang a.k.a. Akeem will be coming out of retirement for CHIKARA's 84-man "King of Trios" tournament that will take place at the old ECW Arena over three days during the weekend of February 29. The tournament will feature 28 teams of three. Demolition (Bill "Ax" Eadie and Barry "Smash" Darsow) and One Man Gang will be one of the teams in the tournament.
