If you are a Jericho fan , try niyo basahin book ni Jericho called "Lion's Tale" . Medyo expensive nga lang since hard bound pero its worth it... Worth reading din "Have a Nice Day" and "Adam Copeland on Edge"...

Some ex-wrestler news:

UFC officially confirmed Brock Lesnar vs. Heath Herring in a heavyweight bout at UFC 87 in Minneapolis, Minnesota on August 9.

Damn... freak of nature naman kasi si Lesnar eh.. sayang din naman siya...

WWE’s Bobby Lashley signs with American Fight League

Former World Wrestling Entertainment performer and decorated amateur wrestler Bobby Lashley is the latest signing for the Kentucky-based American Fight League.

A source close to the 31-year-old told MMAjunkie.com that Lashley will be introduced as an AFL signee—perhaps the organization’s biggest to date—during tonight’s “Bulletproof” show at Phillips Arena in Atlanta.

Rumors of Lashley’s possible transition into MMA heated up over the past month, but few expected such a high-profile figure to sign with an organization so new to the national scene.

AFL officials declined to comment today, but one executive said some “major signings” will be announced at tonight’s show, which features a main event between AFL lightweight champ and former UFC fighter Diego Saraiva.

Terms of Lashley’s contract aren’t known, but it’s expected to be a non-exclusive deal.

Lashley, a two-time NAIA national wrestling champion while at Missouri Valley College, also won two armed-forces titles while serving in the U.S. Army. He signed with the WWE in 2003 and debuted with the organization in 2005. His character won titles in both the WWE and Extreme Championship Wrestling organizations.

Lashley received some mainstream popularity when he was chosen to represent Donald Trump in a “Hair vs. Hair match” with WWE Chairman Vince McMahon in 2007. Lashley won the staged match, so McMahon was forced to shave his head. However, Lashley was released from his WWE contract earlier this year.

Lashley, of course, won’t be the first WWE wrestler turned MMA fighter. Former WWE superstar Brock Lesnar signed with the UFC in 2007 and debuted with the organization in February. Lashley is unlikely to match Lesnar’s popularity in MMA, but like his fellow WWE alumnus, he’s likely to convert some pro-wrestling fans into MMA viewers.

The AFL, a Kentucky-based organization born from the Caged Inferno promotion, has held three events to date. Its first arena show was held in March at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Ky. Tonight’s “Bulletproof” show (see our event preview) is the first-ever MMA event to take place in Phillips Arena, which is September’s rumored UFC 88 host venue.

The AFL’s other recent signings include Saraiva, “The Ultimate Fighter 2” cast member Dan Christison, highly ranked featherweight Raphael Assuncao, UFC veteran Junior Assuncao, and highly touted prospect Douglas Lima.

Napanood ko yung replay ng One Night Stand kagabi

I got so bored with the whole show. Olats talaga. They should have kept it for ECW only.

Yung Falls Count Anywhere match, they didn't show Hardy landing on Umaga when he executed the Swanton Bomb from the top of the truck. Malamang may mattress to. They never showed the area until after they sowed the replay.

I was really looking forward to the I Quit match between Melina and Beth Phoenix. It's been quite a while since the Divas were actually involved in some hardcore matches. Pero submission match lang ang dating ng buong match. Nothing extreme with this match. Mas hardcore pa yung Street Fight ni Victoria and Trish Stratus a few years back.

First Blood... bwahahahahaha! Whatever. Kitang kita nag-uusap ang dalawa. And when Cena was supposedly rubbing JBL"s face on the steel steps, kitang kita his forehead was just on his forearm. Alanganin pa yung pagpanalo ni Cena.

Yung Last Man Standing match, ok na sana. They had to end it early lang cuz of Orton's injury. Sama naman kasi ng bagsak niya. As in. I'm sure he broke something there.

Yung TLC, not as brutal as I wanted it to be. At kainis, kitang kita naghihintayan silang lahat.

What I really enjoyed was the Singapore Cane match. Di scripted yung cut ni Big Show doon. His face really landed badly on the steel steps.

The Stretcher match was fine. I was expecting more brutality, but it was just alright.

Wala pa ding tatalo sa 1st and 2nd One Night Stands (2005-2006)

There's still a handful of wrestling fans who still believe that the Undertaker is gone completely.

Is Undertaker Gone?

The big question being asked this week has absolutely nothing to do with the $1 million that Vince McMahon is giving away.

No. The big question this week is about whether or not the Undertaker is really gone from WWE.

Of course, the majority of people that are asking this question are those that haven't been watching wrestling for too long.

If you've been watching wrestling for a substantial period of time, you'll know exactly how concrete retirement matches and "loser leaves town" matches are.

They're about as guaranteed as a Sid Vicious appearance on an independent wrestling show.

Time Off

Truth is, Undertaker is just taking some time off. He wanted some time off to heal some nagging injuries.

Undertaker has been in the wrestling business for well over 2 decades now. His body doesn't recover as fast as it used to.

This should be nothing new to long time wrestling fans because throughout the years, Undertaker has been known to take time off.

Why do you think he kept disappearing back then?

Fanfare

When Ric Flair finally called it quits, WWE made a huge deal out of it.

Wrestlemania 24 was as much about Ric Flair's retirement as it was about any other match on the show.

The Undertaker deserves a retirement tour with as much fanfare as Ric Flair received.

His career isn't going to end with him walking out of One Night Stand after losing a TLC match to Edge.

It's true that the Undertaker's real life personality would seem to be the type that would love to walk away quietly.

However, management and the other wrestlers will more than likely convince him to accept a grand finale.

If anything, he owes it to his fans to say goodbye properly.

Regardless of how he feels about walking away quietly, the Undertaker realizes that he has a huge and loyal fanbase.

If they announced his retirement tour, fans across the country (and across the world) would line up to see him before he retired.

Closing Thoughts

If you still believe that the Undertaker is permanently gone, then I don't know what else to tell you.

Several wrestlers are asking for time off, but it doesn't look like everyone is going to get their wishes granted.

Requesting Time Off

There's a lot of wrestling fans out there who fantasize about becoming a professional wrestler some day.

A lot of these fans also forget how difficult of a job it is for these guys.

They forget that the wrestlers have to spend on average 4 days a week on the road.

Not only are they always traveling, they're also putting their body through some pretty rough activities on those days as well.

When you're new to the business, the excitement and adrenaline should make it easier to cope with the schedule.

However, after you've got some money saved in the bank and you've seen every city at least 4-5 times, it becomes a lot more difficult to tolerate.

Randy Orton

Prior to his injury, Randy Orton was requesting some time off from the road.

He told the company that he was burnt out from the heavy road schedule. Randy Orton also had a desire to be at home with his pregnant wife.

WWE didn't appear to be giving him the time off that he requested. However, now that he has a broken left collar bone, he's going to get his time off.

Undertaker

For weeks, there have been talks about the Undertaker taking some time off.

Wasn't too sure that he was going to get it until we saw him lose the title match at One Night Stand.

The stipulation involved in that match stated that the Undertaker would be "fired" if he had lost.

Not sure how long he's going to be out, though, since the brand needs him.

Batista

Sources state that Batista had requested to take the summer off from the road.

Of course, that doesn't look like it'll be happening now that Batista is expected to move back into the title picture soon.

WWE really needs Batista right now.

The Undertaker is going to take some time off. Rey Mysterio isn't 100% yet. Big Show might need to take some time off as well, depending on what the doctors tell him about his eye.

There's not a lot of other main event wrestlers available to fill in.

Closing Thoughts

There was a time where the WWE roster was so stacked that wrestlers could afford to take time off.

In order to get back to that level, WWE needs to create more stars.

On Monday Night Raw, WWE revealed Triple H's next challenger, and the audience gave out a collective groan.

John Cena Title Shot

At One Night Stand, Randy Orton suffered a serious injury as he was hurled over the top rope.

We then learned that he broke his left collarbone and will be out of action for approximately three months.

That means that we're going to need a new challenger.

Enter John Cena.

WWE decided to go with a simple but effective storyline to set up the new challenger.

John Cena has defeated JBL twice now, so he does have some momentum going his way.

If that wasn't enough, they had him beat Jeff Hardy in a #1 contenders match on Raw.

Is It Too Early?

With a lot of wrestling fans already complaining about the move, it's easy to wonder whether or not it was too early to elevate John Cena again.

WWE had been doing the smart thing by moving John Cena away from the title picture for a few weeks.

Having him feud with JBL in the midcard was a smart move.

It would have been even better had they kept John Cena in the midcard throughout the summer months as well.

Unfortunately, we'll never know if that was the plan or not. WWE needs John Cena now that Randy Orton is out of the picture.

Like him or not, John Cena still has main event credibility.

What About Hardy?

One of the big complaints about doing another title match between John Cena and Triple H is that we've seen it before.

Fans want fresh matchups as much as possible.

This is where Jeff Hardy comes in.

Adding him into the main event title match and making it a triple threat accomplishes a couple of things.

First of all, the Jeff Hardy fanatics (and there are plenty of them) will be more likely to spend money on the pay per view.

It also provides Night of Champions with a fresh matchup and some actual excitement behind it.

Jeff Hardy doesn't necessarily have to win the title at Night of Champions. His presence alone is enough to reduce the complaining fans.

Closing Thoughts

Unlike the last pay per view, there's actually more than 2 weeks to prepare. It's not too late to add Jeff Hardy to the match.

Big Show's Injury Worse Than Originally Thought

If you watched One Night Stand, you would have seen that the Big Show took quite a wicked blow to the head. He was bleeding pretty badly after his face hit the steel steps.

Well, he woke up in his hotel room this morning, and the swelling was so extreme that it caused his eye to be completely shut. Originally, it was believed that it was just a cut. With how bad the swelling is, there could be a broken bone.

Big Show will be undergoing an MRI to determine just how severe things are.

Closing Thoughts

It looks pretty bad. Hopefully, Big Show recovers from this in time to work the Night of Champions show.
