tempest21 Posted March 29, 2011 Share Posted March 29, 2011 4/1 SMACKDOWN SPOILER -Kofi Kingston defeated Wade Barrett by DQ in an IC title match. Kofi had the match won, but the Corre ran out and broke it up for the DQ. First Santino and Vladimir ran out for the save, but were ineffective. Then Kane and Big Show came out and cleared the ring. -Michael Cole went to the back with his armed security. -Jerry Lawler cut an in-ring promo. Very serious, with him saying that people have to face the consequences of their words, and Cole will on Sunday. -Cody Rhodes defeated Chris Masters. Michael Cole came back out half way through. Cody won easily. Rey Mysterio ran out, and kept trying to hit the 619, which included exposing the knee brace again, but Cody bailed. -The dark match main event then saw John Cena, Rey Mysterio, Edge, and Randy Orton defeated The Miz, Alberto Del Rio, Cody Rhodes, and CM Punk. Pretty short match all things considered. Eventually the faces ganged up on Alberto and hit all the finishers on him for the win. Quote Link to comment

Unfortunately, this looked like a dud. and I agree, the 2 HBK vs Undertaker matches were indeed spectacular. The last great Wrestlemania that I watched was WM20, when Chris Benoit won the belt in the triple thread match. Most, if not all, matches in that card were great, including the Divas match.
