daDJ
According to Raul Cuevas (Marketing Brand Manager of Power Bar), the Power Bar Half Marathon on September 24 is cancelled. Raul used to coach the RP Triathlon team prior to his current post in Nestle-PowerBar. Fret not MTC runners as the Adidas King of the Road is still pushing through as planned on September 17. koopahl
The brochure says that the only official registration center is at ground floor of the Vazquez-Madrigal building in Annapolis Greenhills. The contact person is Babes Carasco. But I suggest you try visiting Adidas stores because I remember in past races they also accept registration for the run. It's Php250 and a race singlet will be given to you upon payment. Not only that, sponsor freebies are also given to successful running participants, that is, those who are able to finish the run within the time limit. I think it's 3hrs for the 10K. 3 hrs for 10k? maski siguro gumapang ka di ka siguro abutin ng 3 hrs...unless mag-snack ka muna bago ka gumapang uli... haven't registered yet...try to go to the adidas store at gateway kung pwede kuha ng application duon...greenhills is out of the way from my route going home... Dr_PepPeR
fort bonifacio nagiging runners haven.. ayos kasi marami pang open area at closed roads. ideal sa mga nag jo-jogging.. at mukang medyo safe dito I agree Ft Boni is one of the safest places in MM. Where do you guys park there? I've been wanting to do a two hour run during a weekend but it gets boring to just keep going around and around the memorial park I usually use for this. Dr_PepPeR
A few comments: Finally a running club thread! I used to do all the road races around 10 years ago, my favorites were the Executive 10K at UP where they have age groupings so its quite possible to medal in this race, the Yakult 10-miler which had a lot of participants, the Coke-Arrow 10K, and the Milo Half Marathon. After a while sponsorship of road races started to wane and even PAL stopped sponsoring the very popular PAL Marathon. Its great to find out that there are still road races sponsored by the biggies. Kudos to daDJ for posting the info on the upcoming events. Maybe we should organize this as an MTC running club like what a previous poster suggested. My idea is to register as a club if the event permits this and we could have MTC singlets made if people here are so inclined. I would think that this may be better than going to some of the MTC EBs I've been invited to but never attended. Thank you again daDJ for the info. Quote Link to comment

vaportrail
What is included in the reg sa Adidas run may shirt ba? I got a white singlet, which looks nice. may price tag pang nakalagay haha! (para isipin siguro ng mga sumali na sulit yung 250php na reg fee). Dalwa lang available na sizes either medium or large. Mukhang may finisher shirt pang iaabot (may tshirt stub sa race #). About the MTC running club, sounds interesting  Quote Link to comment
