kurokaze Posted June 13, 2014 Share Posted June 13, 2014 After a hiatus of a few years (and little kids destroying the Gundams I've built in the past), I've started collecting a new set of GUNPLA. Finished building/painting an SD Build Strike Gundam just a few hours ago. Had to make do with just using Gundam markers for painting.. Still in my queue to build are the RG Zeta Gundam and RG Gundam Exia. Thinking of buying the MG Hi Nu Gundam ver Ka when it comes out by August or just submit to the urge and get the MG Wing Gundam Proto Zero. Quote Link to comment

I originally started out with the china KOs of the 1/144 endless waltz series about 8(?) years ago but the materials were too flimsy and brittle so after i finished them I just stashed them away in a shoebox somewhere. Fast forward several years later. With a better paying job and lots of free time, I got myself two of these to start off my small collection. MG 1/100 Unicorn Gundam, Ver Ka.Took me around a week to assemble this because my only tool was a nail clipper, a scalpel and fine sandpaper. kurokaze Posted July 22, 2014 Share Posted July 22, 2014 Experimenting on top-coating an SD Build Strike Gundam with Pledge (3:1 mixture with Tamiya X21). Looks good so far, but I overdid the dirty look effect, so I'll have to strip it off and do top-coating again. Will have to find out first how much Mercury Drug sells 1L of 91% isopropyl alcohol. Done building RG Gundam Exia, but broke the sword peg just below the right shoulder blade. Quote Link to comment
