buwitre1781
Its not D'Antoni that should be fired it should be the tandem of Isaiah thomas and Dolan. simula ng nahawakan nila ang New York ala na silang ginawang tama. Mas pinaboran nila si Melo kesa kay Antoni sabagay kung itrade nila si Melo mas kahiya hiya sila kasi last season bago playoffs pinagmamalaki nilang sinabi na magiging championship team sila dahil nakuha nila si Melo at the expense of 4 young promising Knick led by Galinari and offering him more than 65million dollars bukod pa more than 90 kay Amare (correct me if Im wrong). eh ever since that trade ilang winning streak ba nakuha nila. the longest streak they had is when Melo is not playing on the court. well, nanalo new york kanina pero the question is for how long. can woodson controll Melo's chauvinism (something that even Goerge Karl can't handle). Thomas and Dolan you should own up for New York's failure. Mas mainam siguro kung si Donald Trump na lang ang may ari ng Knicks.. para masabihan niya si Melo ng you're fired. Quote Link to comment

johncharles
Lin is now one of the highlighted parts of the opposing scouting reports, same importance as Melo and Amare.his production has dropped and plateaued as a result, those numbers you see now are most likely what you will see in the next games.10-15 pts 7-9 asts per game whether or not the Knicks run the offense directly through him.Its finding the right mix of players that will take the floor together. Melo and Amare doesnt necessarily have to play together constantly, but at least one of them has to be in the game. Quote Link to comment
Droidz1979
Crazy NBA day because of the trading deadline.. S-Jax and Bugot for Ellis, Udoh and Kwane Brown started it and today all hell brook loose  And for a Knick related news, Nate McMillan just got fired by the Blazers after getting blown by the Knicks that resulted to its rebuilding mode by trading Gerald Wallace and Marcus Camby to the Nets and Rockets for peanuts  I sure hope the Knicks nab the zen master next year and not end up ruining his career the way it happened to Zeke (Isiah Thomas), Lenny Wilkins, Larry Brown and now D' Antoni Quote Link to comment
SaintPeter5858
Lin did it well for the Knights. It's time to let go of Melo Quote Link to comment
xxxxdgnr8xxxx
if phil jackson will do "michael jordan"..coming out of retirement..then guide these ragtag knicks, it'll be a full circle for the zen master. he won his first NBA championship ring as a knickerbocker back in '73. *up top* Quote Link to comment
linsanity
Hopefully mike woodson can preach some defense with these team. Quote Link to comment
orpheus9654
I understand that MELO is the Knick's franchise player, however it's obvious that there is no chemistry between him and Lin. Quote Link to comment
wendy testicleger
Itrade na lang si Linsanity Quote Link to comment
Droidz1979
The Knicks are kicking the ass off the Pacers so far at home leading by a score of : 43 vs 29 at the second quarter. Apparently it was not about chemistry but more of team effort as J-Lin and Melo does seem to coexist. Oh and the team sure could play D, maybe it was Woodson and the coaching change that they all need in the first place. Hopefully this would be a start of another win run. Lastly, Chandler is a beast on D, Go Knicks! Quote Link to comment
launchpad
i think what the coach did was make everyone knows their accountable and what role they play for him. Â as any of his former hawks stints he better make this work or his back to assistant coach position again. Quote Link to comment
Droidz1979
i think what the coach did was make everyone knows their accountable and what role they play for him.  as any of his former hawks stints he better make this work or his back to assistant coach position again.  More of jobless and looking for an assistant opening for other teams. But its been working so far so i guess it's all good. Final score for the day is : 115 vs 100 for the Knicks against the Pacers. It was mostly a blow-out and the Pacers only cut the deficit to 15 when the scrubs were playing mostly in the 4th for the Knicks. Top scorer was Tyson Chandler with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 blocks as well as JR Smith who also scored 16 with 3 rebounds and 3 assist. J-Lin had 13 points, 5, rebounds and 5 assist for this game and had plenty of rest. Melo had 12 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assist and 2 steals while Novak had 12 points, 2 rebounds and 1 steal; Amare had 8 points, 6 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 blk. The downside for the game is that Baron had a strained right hamstring and might not be able to play on the back-to-back game at Indiana the next day so some rest for J-Lin hopefully helps. Would love for him to recover fast as his game is sorely needed to rest Lin and ensure that the high level of play continues since Bibby just ain't cutting it lately and has not been hitting his shots. Go Knicks! Quote Link to comment
SaintPeter5858
Will they make a streak just like when Lin was leading? Quote Link to comment
iRapedSatan
Hope thet'll make it to the playoffs at least. Quote Link to comment
Droidz1979
Hope thet'll make it to the playoffs at least. The Bucks have better games left against weaker teams as opposed to the Knicks and they've made a good upgrade on the trade deadline by adding Monta Ellis and Ekpe Udoh. However, the Celtics have a much tougher sked than the Knicks and they've been riding the minutes on their aging core. If any of their core players get injured then they are the ones that are ;probably taking the boot while assuming that the Knicks continue the good play that they've been showing the past 2 games (so far). Droidz1979
Knicks dominating the Pacers at their home on a back-to-back game with the score of 102 vs 88. They're topscored by J-Lin with 19 points (just with 10 shots and played for 33mins. only), 7 rebounds, 6 assist, 1 steal and 1 blk; Amare had 16 points, 8 rebounds and 1 steal; Melo had 16 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assist while Chandler had 8 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assist, 2 steals and 3 blks; JR Smith led the bench with 11 points, 3 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 blk. Again, defense was the key tonight coupled with good ball movement and inspired play from the bench where Bibby was decent enough to provide relief for Lin in the absence of B-Diddy. Go Knicks, 3-game win streak baby~! Quote Link to comment
U.P. AdMU2008
Waht do you think about the new coach? Quote Link to comment
SaintPeter5858
Lin might have less playing time na talaga. Quote Link to comment
SaintPeter5858
In fairness, Lin contributed 19 points to their latest victory Quote Link to comment
iRapedSatan
3-0 run with Wooden. Quote Link to comment
linsanity
Baron is out of shape and always injured. No chance he'll be taking over lin. 3-0 and counting! I think the team is finally settling in finding their roles. Quote Link to comment
iRapedSatan
Hope they can still make it to the playoffs. Quote Link to comment
launchpad
well just imagine your 2 stars got 16 pts each on the last game @ amare 31 mins, carmelo 29 mins versus portland  amare - 17 pts on 25 minscarmelo - 16 pts on almost 25 mins  versus indiana  amare - 8 pts on 28 mins carmelo - 12 pts on 24 mins   woodson is more of a defensive approach type for me. looking at the mins and production those 2 are making sums up that the reason they are winning is other players stepping up and they are playing defense. just like when linsanity exploded. those 2 werent there together once their back its went down. those 2 who has salaries of tens of millions brings in stats of role players. i still agree with trading of carmelo. johncharles
They should have traded melo to new orleans for eric gordon and chris kaman. Quote Link to comment
