Started playing when Alpha came out. Played on and off until Legends came out. I've gotten all the sets mixed up when I started buying singles at the local card shop (everything divided by color, not set). It's been so long since I played (Mirage anyone?) warumono Posted June 24, 2008 Share Posted June 24, 2008 ako naglalaro pa rin pero not as competitive like nung college days. i don't even have a decent type 2 deck. puro old skool. and i like it. hehehe things i don't like about MtG nowadays: 1. rares (and yes, even commons and uncommons) are becoming VERY expensive nowadays. at maglalabas pa raw ng ibang uri ng rarity ang MtG come the next expansion this september. 2. they release expansions quicker nowadays. for the record, ilang expansions this year? 3. mahirap na para sa isang "nagbabalik-loob" na makapaglaro uli kasi andami nang pagbabago sa rules. so you'd rather stick to the old skool MtG than to play with kids who have Planeswalkers in their decks (though ako e updated naman, talking on behalf of people who feel that way). MTG or WoTC is limited to release 3 expansion a year plus the MTG edition if it coincides. The timing always since 1997 was (1) january (2) april/may (3) july/sept. Quote Link to comment
