floppydrive
Doc, Its 1/24 scale. I think the small kit is available at Lils Megamall. It was quite a fun build, actually. I plan to build another one, though I havent decided what to turn it into yet. Others are converting the kit into Yellowcab scooters, Hello Kitty scooters, etc. Veeery nice! If this weren't the scale modeling thread, I'd think it's the real thing! Quote Link to comment
prenster
glad to see that this hobby is still alive and kicking I'm a frustrated modeller, haven't built anything in a while. Do you guys ever get that modelling slump when anything you build just doesn't work out? I need another OOB build Quote Link to comment

Boelcke
Doc, Didnt ESCI release a 1/35 kit of the Stinger Humvee? Called "Avenger" if memory serves me right. Quote Link to comment

Yes Herr Boelcke, I believe they did. I also remember AFV club releasing the 'Weasel' but for now I think I'd limit my builds to guns only, the SAMs opens another Pandora's Box yikes! Thanks for the input, sir, is there anything else that you remember? Quote Link to comment

But since you say you're simply trimming down, I'm sure you'll have more than enough room to get the latest new-tool kits out there. You will come back to the hobby. The power of the force is strong in you my son. Quote Link to comment

Lil's used to have the Italeri 1/72 AC-47. In 1/48, there are kits by ESCI, Revell and Monogram but so far I haven't spotted one yet here. You might want to try ordering through the internet or talk to Natalie at JMN Hobbies in Harrison Plaza if you really want to get your hands on one. BTW those are nice builds. I can't wait to see your builds when you start to paint them. Quote Link to comment
