FMA is the usual route to blade skills. But these arts don't do short cuts. You have to go through everything, footwork, sticks, patterns, and eventually blades of different lengths.

Boxing kinda lost its popularity when Pacquiao faded, but it's still a more practical martial art than tae kwon do or karate, I think.
