LRT And MRT Services

Recommended Posts

i use these railway systems sometimes. this is a convenient transportation; traffic - free and you reach your destinatiojn in record time.

but there are some rules and regulations here that will piss you off. take for example, in the MRT, bawal ang de lata. what if nag grocery ka? kahit sardinas, bawal? tama ba yun?

let us discuss the services being given to us by the MRT and LRT.

o nga naman, bawal canned goods. pano yung mga nag grocerry sa alaya na sasakay ng MRT? di forced to ride a taxi or a bus na lang sila? im not sure kasi i havent encountered anybody yet being stopped for the canned goods they bought from sm/glorietta/whatever ayala center.

:D

by the way, dont you just hate those undisciplined masa making a big riot sa MRT and LRT? i mean yung mga mahilig magtulakan na parang the end of the world na kaya kelangan sumakay agad agad. i mean pwede naman disiplinado tayo at maayos na nakapila papasok ng cart diba.

I think the services are great actually - although I have never had the problem of being refused to carry canned goods.

But if you take into consideration the fact that it is fast - no traffic issues -

Cheap, Clean and Airconditioned I think it is a fantastic way to travel.

The only real drawback I see are that during peak travel periods say 8 - 10 in the morning and 4 - 7 in the evening they are sometimes really packed.

the service is satisfactory, it's the majority of commuters that's irritating... un mga nakikipagunahan sa escalators/stairs, queue jumpers, nakikipagtulakan, etc... as for the security issues, tingin ko kailangan talaga un since nasa list ng mga nanggugulo (terrorists..?) ang mrt/lrt, altho medyo OA na nga naman un ibang bawal ipasok

i believe bro pwede yung mga canned goods basta grocery items, and may resibo... ang bawal ata yung may bitbit kang mga drinks in can na as in yun lang... pero kung mga grocery items like sardinas, meat loaf, infant milk... pwede ata yung ganun, kasi ako dati hindi naman ako pinigil kahit may mga delata akong dala...

I'm not a constant MRT/LRT rider as I live south on Manila.........

Kailan kaya magka-ka MRT sa amin, this would eliminate a very big bulk of

car plying the southsuperhighway ;-)

If you go to other countries, you'll notice the discipline of the people queing going in and out of the carts.

we'll I guess its not only on the MRT/LRT where we this kind of behavior (no offense meant).

The MRT is the best way to travel along EDSA. When I visit the Philippines (I'm from L.A.), I ride the MRT to travel between QC and Makati. While riding the MRT, I observe the pace of traffic on EDSA and thank my lucky stars that the MRT exists.

As for the LRT (from Pasay), I hear from some people that it is not well kept and that many have had their pockets picked while riding on it. I, therefore, do not ride the LRT. How accurate are their accounts? Are there many pick pockets on the LRT? Are the LRT cars not as clean as MRT cars?

this segregation ng women sa first coach ng LRT 1 and MRT. i am very much against it.

a. una, bakit ganun? yung mga babae, mas marami lugar na pwede pasukan? pwede sila sa kahit anong coach. nangyayari, mas madaling nakakasakay mga babae sa lalaki. come to think of it, halos magkasing dami o mas marami pa nga mga lalaki. what happens now is dehado naman mga lalaki.

c. ok lang kung me special place for senior citizens and handicaps and pregnant, i will understand that. pero lahat ng babae, me special traetment, aaahhhh..... hindi na yan equal rights.

I definitely agree that the MRT is very convenient... and the location is perfect (along EDSA) it really beats the hassle of everyday traffic along its route...

I wish it could take a longer route and there are some shops in the terminals so you could at least hang out for a while before you get on the train :hypocritesmiley:
