wrctiatobe
sometimes if i think its easy and i can do it . i do it myself. but for major repairs i call our mechanic to fix it it saves us the travel and the lines at casa and no over prices Quote Link to comment
Magaling
With my first car which was a '78 Toyota Corona, I learned how to change spark plugs, oil filter, change oil, adjust the distributor setting, etc. Pag wala ako magawa, I would dismantle the carburetor, even do top overhaul on the engine. I've actually even assisted in fully overhauling the engine of a Volkwagen Beetle. :goatee: But with today's cars and with the advent of electronic ignition, iba na ang technology. The most I can do now is shampoo the car. Even with that, halos di ko na rin personal na ginagawa dahil wala na rin akong oras. I'd rather take it to the Car Wash and let them do it. Pag may kailangan ayusin sa kotse, casa here I come! Quote Link to comment

El_Presidente
I was driving to work tonight nang may nasagi akong taxi. Please enlighten me on this. Quote Link to comment
cakebread
Bumili ka ng rubbing compound sa auto supply store. Just buff slowly and the taxi's paint should come off. Quote Link to comment
Romvlvs Margareth
Yup! Kaya ng rubbing compound yan. Ang gamit ko yung Formula 1 scratch remover. Yung Step 1 for detailing. Quote Link to comment
El_Presidente
Thanks! the rubbing compound did the trick but it revealed the gash. Popular Mechanic's website has some DIY scratch removing tips, I may try that if I work out the balls for it pero magkano ba pa-detail ng kotse kung sakali? Quote Link to comment
jermitano
depende sa laki po yan pero para mas sigurado ipaayos nyo po sa casa...ung dentless na paintjob...kung nagtitipid sa banawe just ask the shops at irerefer ka nila sa mura...be ready to cough out almost a thousand bucks but its much cheaper Quote Link to comment
