Check mo if may leak na yung shocks mo. And try pressing down rear of your car, if pag release mo nag bounce ng malakas yung rear portion ibig sabihin sira ang shocks.

Use kayaba brand for your shocks for durability and replaced tires approximately every 6yrs or if pag pudpud na tire thread mo which ever comes first.

tnx sir sa info...sa shocks eh napalitan naman na ..made in japan yng nahanap kong parts..i forgot the brand pero ok naman siya..kasi mostly sa mga store ask nila kung ano car mo..what year and model...then may listahan sila kung ano shocks available for the model of the car...and about sa gulong..tnx sa info...yun din sabi sa amin ng mga store owner..mostly 5 to 6yrs talaga dapat nagpapalit na...again tnx sa info.

Anyone out there know the difference? At EDSA cement is used and there is always deblocking that causes traffic the whole weekend. At C5, it is asphalt and overnight everything is fixed. Why the difference when both are DPWH projects? Why is cement also used in EDSA while asphalt is used in C5 and roads abroad?

You need both concrete and asphalt. Concrete for strength and asphalt for softer and smoother ride. Concrete layer should be about 1 feet thick, asphalt about 6 inches. Here in the Philippines we cut both in half and that's why madali masira. Concrete natin around 6 inches lang, asphalt only 3 inches. And sometimes the concrete is exposed, they don't even bother putting asphalt on top. Probably they do that on purpose, so every year meron project where you can get kickbacks.

Life of tyres are usually 4-6 yrs. Beyond 6x pls change it even if its still thick. The rubber quality is already compromised by that time. And start counting from the manufactured date and not the date of purchase :) manufactured date is usually written on the side walls of your tyres. A lot of tyres are stocked in shops so be careful to check the dates.

Worth it pa ba yung mga 90s na Civic, etc. na automatic at binebenta for less than 150k?

Kung kakilala mo yung pagbibilhan mo, at well maintained yung sasakyan since it was bought, then tingin ko okay lang. Pero risky parin yung ganun kalumang sasakyan. Tingin ko talaga if bibili ng 2nd hand cars, safer ang less than 10 years old na kotse na may mababang mileage (50K and below). Kung kaya mong i request yung maintenance record ng sasakyan, try mo i request, at make sure na wala siyang na miss ng preventive maintenance for the past 5 years.

Kung may kilala kang mechanic na magaling, better bring him with you to check the status of the car.

Kung monthly payment is not a concern, I suggest get a brand new one.

Hello! 2days left nalang ako sa driving school,  Manual Transmission (4wheels) kinuha ko for 12hrs, 2hrs per day.

Hahaha!

So far, I'm enjoying the convenience of driving an automatic car.

This is advantageous sa pag drive sa mga highways and expressways. Walang thrill.

1. Before buksan ang lamig ng aircon patayin muna ang compressor (A/C) to let the stale air out (siguro mga 10-15 seconds before turning back A/C). This will help prolong the life of your aircon system

2. One way to check if your battery is still okay is to turn on your headlights before you start the engine.

This will help rev down the engine before coming to a full stop. Gives you more grip and control. Saves gas.

5. If in case wala kang choice at malulubog sa baha ang sasakyan mo, tanggalin mo kahit anong polo ng battery mo (mas preferred both) para hindi magshort ang mga electronics like computer box, car stereo, etc.

CAR Brand&model recommended for first time buyers? things to check and prepare before buying your first car.

Before nagrerent lang ako ng self drive, usually vios, mirage, suzuki (forgot the exact unit) yung nakukuha ko. Minsan nahihiram ko din yung honda city ng uncle ko pag nasa province ako since nasa canada na sya for good and stock nalang yung sasakyan nya sa province.

I am torn between the car THAT I REALLY WANT, and a car na OKAY NA DIN NAMAN.

I mean, i want a honda civic. Pero parang for me, masyado syang mahal para gamitin on a daily basis. What I mean is, baka mas okay na I buy a cheaper one nalang? yung di ako magwoworry na baka malaspag agad or basta yung di ako magwoworry kung "okay lang kaya sya dun sa parking?" etc etc

What do u think?
