But if all you need is a good enough rod and reel, 800-1000 would be enough for starters. Try tobys or chris sports plaza..thats where I got my 1st rod..it still works til now..di nga lang ako makapagfishing kasi walng kasama..hehehe Quote Link to comment

Kakasimula lang yung typhoon season natin dont know when it will end.I thinking twice to go down south at Davao this coming May 25 until june 13. Mag attend ako ng camping doon where i am also planning some deep sea fishing there. Batangas got a got fishing ground there only thing you must be very early then after lunch pabalik na lupa dahil maalon doon pag hapon na, unless we are using a yatch for overnight fishing there.
