starbuck911
For those who are wondering whatever happened to the ol' guys and gals of the DZRJ/DZUW days some of us remember: http://www.therockofmanila.com/index.htm A few of these folks are personal friends. They would be happy to know that people still talk about them and remember that wonderful time when radio (and not videos) was a major influence on music in terms of sales, marketing, AND attitude. :goatee: Edited August 1, 2006 by starbuck911 Quote Link to comment
starbuck911
(Ahem).....the link I posted above takes you to a different site now. As early as 2 days ago it was still the "same ol' site" that was still quite popular last time I checked. Wow, talk about bad timing.....sorry 'bout that! If I get any info about what happened to the site, I'll post it. Hmmm..... Quote Link to comment
willow_boy
To those of you who have an interest in the roots of Pinoy Rock, check out the following website: Pinoy Classic Rock This website provides the reader with extensive information about the different Pinoy Rock bands during the 60s and 70s. It lists the bands that were part of the Pinoy rock scene during the period along with their individual members. It also provides updates on where the bands and/or the members are now. It also provides links to sites focused on specific Pinoy rock bands. It would certainly appeal to the fans, enthusiasts, or to the amateur Pinoy rock historians among us. IMHO, the site is one of the most extensive and well-researched sites focusing on Pinoy Rock music that I've seen in years. Check it out. Special thanks go out to fellow MTC member starbuck911 for sharing this great site. :thumbsupsmiley: Edited August 4, 2006 by willow_boy Quote Link to comment
