mangkeyboi
ej_qn
DSL - no cap, more reliable.Tried the demo of Sky the speed varies greatly on how many Sky subscribers are within your area. Also, majority of websites have issues that fail to display.. that was almost a decade ago and till now the issue has not been resolved. Yeah, still capped ang data. Quote Link to comment
ibirp
i'm currently using Sky Broadband. For many years, it was very good: high speed, no cap, discounted cable rates, etc.recently, frequent na ang intermittent disconnection due to congestion. andami narin kasing subscribers sa area namin. kendrasee
broadband is recommended pag nasa village ka since its faster with less users connected.for densely populated areas, better go with DSL since speed is more consistent regardless of number of users connected. Quote Link to comment
Fhunkmeister
I'm currently subscribed to SkyCable's 50mbps plan. Unlimited (no data cap) so sawang sawa kakadownload. Ok naman s'ya, no problems since maikabit a few months ago. All devices can now watch 4k/1080p streaming kahit sabay-sabay, most torrents can go up to 7mbps DL speed (fastest I've seen), and hindi naman bumibitaw sa games so far. Quote Link to comment

test4321
Kung konti lang sa area ang naka cable, then it would be ideal to get cable over dsl. DSL is preferred if there are many in your area subscribe to cable. Â Overall, fiber would be better than both dsl and cable. Jon Don
Best option for Internet is to move out of the country until PLDT's monopoly in the ISP industry has been removed for good. Quote Link to comment
roy.guinness
VDSL (fiber) > ADSL > Cable I would actually avoid cable since yung line is shared among the cable subscribers, unlike DSL na dedicated yung line. So pag madaming users na sabay-sabay sa cable, medyo babagal yung service. Quote Link to comment

boy_kwitis
(No globe does not count) Quote Link to comment

Electrical supplies in manila are not familiar with optical cable by pldt, tnxI think this means they run their enterprise network on fiber optic, but the cables that run to your house and to your modem are either coaxial or a dsl cable (looks like a telephone cable). Cat5 and Cat6 are ethernet cables that you connect to your router or switch. 1 Quote Link to comment
