EL_PY
okay lang kung walang patayan yung PC mo, basta may proper ventilation/cooling ka sa area ng pc mo.pero downside is kung marami ka applications nung time na nakabukas PC mo, unti unti magagamit RAM at CPU mo pati swap memory mauubos din, kaya tendency nyan baka mag hang sya/blue screen o mag shutdown/restart 1 Quote Link to comment
omega2959
basta wag lang mawalan ng kuryente. hehehe Quote Link to comment
nwebe
Another thing, if you have no desktop and really need to run your laptop 24/4, you should remove its battery and have a UPS to support when the power fails. UPS batteries will also fail eventually. But they are more suited for always-on operation that any laptop batteries, and they are way cheaper to replace. Quote Link to comment

mrbig86
If you're leaving your PC/Laptop on for 24/7, and if it's never idle, at least make sure your processor's maximum state is set to 95% or less. This is to prevent your processor from getting too hot especially if you're performing processor-heavy tasks 24/7. This is extremely true to processors with clock boost features. Also, make sure you clean your PC/Laptop once a year to avoid dust build up in all its vents. Also make sure to apply a good quality thermal paste on your processor every 2 years. strike101
how long does Thermal Paste last before drying out.. yung ordinary na P50-100 na nasa tube... compared sa .. lets say Arctic silver ? Mga 2-3 taon din ang na taggal ng mga ordinaryong paste. Ang lamag ng mas mahalin e yung kalidad ng pag lipat ng init sa heatsink para mas mabilis ma palamig ang processor. Quote Link to comment
Brian214
Keep your PC at sleep state is ok.. but if you know you Be won't using it for more than 2 days or if you will be leaving your house better to just shut it down. Quote Link to comment
