i would disagree... remember that flowerhorns are "genetically" engineered species, a product of cross-breeding. u wont see true FH fishes in the wild thus the rule of developing a "status" symbol KOK becomes irrelevant. FH's is a result of cross breeding from different cichlid species, getting the best traits from one species and passing it off to its offspring thru cross-breeding, until the desired strain is achieved. The role of genetics plays a more vital role in developing koks. 2 types of kok, hard kok and the soft kok, hard koks are hard to develop and may take years before it really grows, soft koks on the other hand can easily be seen even in the juvenile stages. AFAIK there are still no studies that may prove otherwise that FH food may give FHs an advantage in developing koks. coloration yes, kok i am not sure

just my 2 cents... no flames though... :D

Make sense ! you're absolutely correct.

And FH pellets may help the enhancement of the kok but not necessarily to gain a kok.

Like what type of equipment are you looking for? Kasi though there are stuff that are value for your money at QMark, not everything there is recommended for marine.

Anyone here knows where to find a dovii aka wolf fish? They say these critters are the most aggressive freshwater fish. Also the asian redtail catfish.

It's an aggressive fish but it's not the most. Doviis can be bought in cartimar P100 -P150 each same thing with the RTC.
