Technical question.

 

Based on the Inno3D website, their GTX 260 Freezer X2 requires only a 400W PSU w/ 1 6-pin power connector.

 

I know that a standard GTX 260 requires a true-rated 500W PSU and 2 6-pin power connectors.

Is it because their GTX 260 is underpowered or is it just that it saves more power than the other manufacturers?

Bro I don't recommend Inno3d. Get a Palit, Sapphire, XFX, MSI, Gigabyte etc. Also, get an ATI.

Anyway, get a branded PSU like Corsair, Seasonic and Antec. These psus deliver the wattage indicated on their boxes.
