What's Your Video Card?

at 19 and 1280x1024

man you're good with the gts oc....

you don't need the sli...

if you go sli..get a 30incher with 2560 x 1600 resolution...

With a c2d 6750 + 2 gig ram + 8800gt, you could already play crysis with all quality setting set on 'high' on a 19 monitor with the resolution set at 1280x1024.

will spend my money wise bro, will follow your advice and wait for newer and faster vcard, along with mainboard and monitor.

will not buy 3870 X2 though, when will the 9800 be released?

bro my 19" is only 1440X900 resolution.

some say march 11....for the gtx and end of march for the gx2

man thats a wide screen...ouch..heheheh

i just downloaded 3dmark06 at bjorn3d.com ...15minutes worth....try that...

not the 3870 x2 ? why not? its the fastest single card solution at the moment...unless you find an 8800 ultra...

For the agp - graphics card hunter

what not to get:

ati9550-ati9600pro-mx440-nvidia6600-6200s-5200-5500 these models are too old...

what to get:

atiRadeon X1650 PRO - this is available at pcx. around 4000-5000

atiRadeon HD 2600 XT - if you can find this..this is great for the agp-dx10 ready(vista ready)

if you're into gaming 2gb of memory will help..upgrade upgrade

call them up first...

bring your pc and have them install it..to make sure of compatibility

May I know what is the processor?

Does your mobo accept ddr2 memory?

Thanks

mobo is gigabyte GA-VM800PMC.

processor is pentium d 945 3.40ghz 800mhz

and yes it supports ddr2.

imho:

For playing most games, your system is still Ok.

Although the processor would create a bottleneck for any video cards above 1950 pro.

1950 pro - you can play most games at 1280x960 on high

1650xt - you can play most games at 1024x768 on high

prices for agp video cards are normally a bit higher(about 1 to 2T) than pcie.

For now, dd2 memory is cheap compared (about half the price) to other types of memory, if possible add it up to 2gig.

You will spend about 6 to 10T for the upgrade. If you are not in a hurry to play Crysis, Supreme Commander, World in Conflict, Call of Duty 4, at high settings, then go ahead with the upgrade.

bad ba yun performance ng current gpu mo?

okey pa naman bro, can play Crysis in DX10 all high setting pero syempre mas malakas ang 8800gts g92 base sa review almost same or high performance than 8800gtx what more in SLI ^_^ kaso pag nag SLI set up ako kasama motherboard sa pag palit T_T
