johnlove
@mikejudo at 19 and 1280x1024 man you're good with the gts oc.... you don't need the sli... if you go sli..get a 30incher with 2560 x 1600 resolution... With a c2d 6750 + 2 gig ram + 8800gt, you could already play crysis with all quality setting set on 'high' on a 19 monitor with the resolution set at 1280x1024. Although the processor would create a bottleneck for any video cards above 1950 pro.1950 pro - you can play most games at 1280x960 on high 1650xt - you can play most games at 1024x768 on highprices for agp video cards are normally a bit higher(about 1 to 2T) than pcie. For now, dd2 memory is cheap compared (about half the price) to other types of memory, if possible add it up to 2gig. You will spend about 6 to 10T for the upgrade. If you are not in a hurry to play Crysis, Supreme Commander, World in Conflict, Call of Duty 4, at high settings, then go ahead with the upgrade. Quote Link to comment
